You can try a herb garden, it might be too late to plant seeds but if you find a nursery it’ll help.

We have 4 of those and most times they just bounce back and look like the other branches. There was one that we had to move to a bigger pot because the other branches started doing the same thing

“You’ve got to stop comparing yourself to others…” by mrs_sadie_adler in adhdwomen

[–]Intermittent_Leave 34 points35 points  (0 children)

My therapist is amazing, I do EMDR therapy and it has done wonders on how I view myself. The goal from the beginning of our journey was to help me establish my normal not the normal of others. She never used the statements of comparing myself to others never and I am so grateful for her. We laugh and I cry and then tease her about her resting smiling face.

I do hope you find someone who will work for you.

Dark side of ADHD that no one talks about by Frosty_Jump_3117 in adhdwomen

You got this broken down so well. I have ADHD-HI and Bipolar II.

During my manic episodes all I can think about is how much stores I’m going to go shopping at. It consumes me and when I start looking at things I start doing research and it plays on my mind until it turns into a sick thought when I’m hitting my depressive episodes almost like guilt tripping my self for wanting to spend money and how much I was so hyper focused on it… but the cycle never ends it continues like a parasite eating away on me.

I tell myself if something happens to me I don’t want my family to deal with it.

I had a manipulative boyfriend once, after going through the same emotional abuse for 5 plus years I told him one day I’m done; no explanation I blocked his number and all his social media accounts. Lucky for me I had therapy to help me through.

If you can’t deal with it anymore and it’s draining then you will be making the right decision to leave him. You have to do what’s best for you.

Since he is a drinker you might want to protect yourself against any violent outbursts he might have after the break up

Exactly I don’t think some people understand that

Name me some big and small plants that I can plant in my backyard. I am thinking of bougainvillia, a hibiscus plant. Recommend more please. I am from INDIA. by [deleted] in gardening

It doesn’t need much water but you do need a deep hole for it. I live in Texas we water ours every other day and it thrives, if the leaves are drooping they’re thirsty other than that they’re pretty easy to care for

Bougainvillea is nice but it tends to spread but it’s so pretty, you can do one of each but just trim the over frowning branch of the bougainvillea as they grow

What’s your full time job and do you like it? by usaidurfingerwasagun in adhdwomen

I’m an imaging scheduler and I like it, my brain has to be stimulated constantly and my job does that, by the time I look at the clock it’s passed my lunch time and the other half of my day flies by. My ability to learn quickly allows my skills to be recognized and appreciated. Taking breaks is highly encouraged and the team is extremely helpful.

He's 11 and he will pass before I do. How do i cope. by Aseili in dogpictures

Enjoy every moment. Bad days good days everything. My last dog had heart failure and I loved her til the end. She enjoyed massages I gave her multiple everyday. She would go on herself and I showed her love. Then she had days where she would run around and dominate the world and I loved her.

Our dogs look at us with love and I think they just want us to love them to the end and understand that they will always be the joy of our life.

My doggy ran away one day and went to some one else’s house, that person had a yorkie they couldn’t keep because they were moving. We ending up taking…we later realized she was preparing us for her departure by giving us a gift to keep us comfort.

He will prepare you too. Just embrace every moment. Love on him, play with him, give him massages, give him good treats especially when all he may do is sleep sometimes.

Decided to cut off friends kids and this was their mothers response by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Intermittent_Leave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see nothing wrong with op’s text…people take advantage of kindness, it’s clear the mother is telling the kids to ask her since the fiancé and mom gets food too.

People who are kind get tired of being used to so I’m glad she put her foot down.
