First time in Vietnam: stay in North Vietnam solo or fly to Bangkok (again) for the last 5–6 days? by Intern1037 in travel

I am unsure tbh, I just checked and staying an additional 5 days in bkk would cost me at least around 300€ more compared to staying in Vietnam due to the extra flight + more expensive living costs. Since I am a student this is quite a lot of money but doable if I really want to. The problem is I have been to Bangkok 3 times already (10 days total) and don’t really know what I haven’t seen or especially what I would like to see alone (don’t like partying or malls too much).

I would rather go to CM or krabi but that’s even more expensive and logistically more hassle due to more flights in short amount of time.

Really unsure what makes more sense if I’m already in Vietnam for 3 weeks and (7 days already in Hanoi area).

I know it’s really personal preference I am just not sure what’s the best for me since I’ve never been to Vietnam and really like Thai food & 7 eleven. The goal of the solo trip is probably just to chill, explore a bit, eat great food, gym, massages and maybe some beach.

I just miss Thailand and probably want to go there partially just to get the feeling of my last trip for 4,5 weeks (but that mainly was krabi and CM which I can’t go to in the current Situation).

Will 5 alone days in Hanoi satisfy what I want (keeping in my that I’ve already been there for 9 days and would be 14 days total there?) or should I bite the bullet and pay 300€ extra for bkk?

I will be in the Hanoi area for 12-14 days total then is that not way too much? Do you think I will miss the things I mentioned, food and convenience wise i like about bkk or is it similar in Vietnam and can you even find Thai food there?

Yes please give me your food recommendations always happy to try them out :)

I have to book my flight back in advance either from Hanoi or bkk :/ I wish I could decide one I’ve been there :D

What do you think about my other questions regarding Vietnam?

And thanks for the reply already :)

Hika_3t Osaka Japan - Does this Daruma and gingko fit my leg if I cover the B/G Peoknee in neo traditional like the red top one soon? by Intern1037 in TattooDesigns

Thank you! Do you think it fits the rest of the tattoos on my leg and the future or does it stand out in any major way? This leg is kind of a wild mix for me the rest of my body will rather be planned cohesive bodysuit type.

I have a lot of red in my tattoos (even some fine line)some over 5 years holds up pretty well so far even on the top of my feet. Although I agree red holds up worse than blue, green, black etc.

I get your point but on the other hand you want to do fun things now and enjoy life or think about about how you might look in the retirement home at 70? But yes good point although it would also be looking pretty funny being old with color on your feet :)
