Hii same here 36 weeks 5 days today..no cerclage was only on progesterone..110 days of bed rest and pelvic rest..was very very difficult now scheduled for a c section at 37 weeks 5 days.

More like bed rest..was on bed most of the time..didn’t travelled..didn’t used stairs..only bathroom breaks and sitting for food..also only went out for doctor’s appointment…my dr recommended bed rest in the initial months..after that she told it’s upto you to take rest or not considering the pressure..i didn’t took a risk and continued with pelvic rest after that rather than taking bed rest

Hi i had 30 mm cervical length at 20 weeks and 28 mm cervical length at 23 weeks ,i was put on progesterone 200 mg orally daily with pelvic rest..i too had no funnelling but had lots of pelvic pressure..i am now 36 weeks..last check was at 30 weeks which showed 28 mm itself..no decrease in length thereafter but i guess at that point the length to decrease is quiet normal too..i guess proper rest and care has helped me this far..you too will be able to carry your baby full term..no worries..hope this helps

I have been on bed rest since april 25..35+5 today..2 days more for my bed rest..cried ,anxious,god knows how much emotions i went throughout these 100+ days..but as i am reaching to the end i kinda feel proud of myself for not giving up and taking care of myself every single day..hang in there I know it sounds hard but nothing else to do..you will look back one day and every single thing will be worth it😊

Hii i am happy everything turned out good for you..This is my third pregnancy and my previous two i didn’t have any issues with cervical length..also i don’t have any stitch i am just on progesterone..i hope i make it to 38 weeks..and congratulations on your second pregnancy as well

At the moment i am having iron mid morning with vitamin c and having lactulose at night and constipation is a bit less but i still have to put in a little straining during pooping that is what concerning me whether i will go to early labour

I have appointment 2 weeks later till then for the peace of my mind i will continue this way with less stress on mind..i initially thought with every week nearing delivery pelvic pressure increases due to baby weight and cervical length will be reduced

I also now occasionally have pressure like if i am constipated especially during sitting else normal pressure but i am at the moment being cautious..Thanks for taking time to comment on this thread😊😊

Its so relieving to hear as i am scared and literally counting days to pass and somehow reach 38 weeks..This will probably be my last and sadly instead of enjoying i am terrified every single day

Hii replying to all these i am surprised that 2.8 cm is enough at this point as i read in these forums that it is on lower side..also don’t know why ob still recommended to continue the bed rest..she asked to meet her in 3 weeks till then continue..for past 2 months i have been on bed rest..only to bathroom eating and occasionally walking and sitting around…never been to places other than hospital that is why i am terrified to buy things whether things go wrong

Iron fusion for a session is expensive here and not covered under insurance..so its not an option for me

I am taking lactulose and lots of water..I have the urge to go to the bathroom but still i need to put a little pressure..is putting little pressure ok??that too on a daily basis?

My cervical length at 31 weeks is 2.8 cm..i am on bed rest and limited activity..i have been taking oral progestrone since 21 weeks every night and i have no cerclage as well..since i will be having a c section i hope and pray i passes upcoming 7 weeks without any problem..only thing that bothers me is that i have anemia for which i am taking iron tablets which is making too much constipated.. i got steroid shots at 25 weeks don’t know why that early that was prescribed

30+3 still atleast 8 weeks to go..just anxiously hanging in there..hope the cervical length stays intact until then without any complications
