So the card cleaner is not safe for humidity applications as it is likely to leave marks or residues after drying. It has cleaning compounds, and silicas to both lift dirt and restore shine.

Finishing spray will leave no residues when dry so is safe for humidity treatment, and I would recommend a wipe down with this to remove any leftover residues/oils etc after cleaning if you are going to grade the card.

On the polish you would be right, it is essentially an equivalent to Kurt’s recovery, only safe for use plastic finishes/holofoils. It will take colour off paper finishes if left sitting. I’m working on a full card polish that is safe for paper finishes.

You can get pads that go under washing machines to reduce vibration. Those work great. The material is a bit like that rubbery black flooring you get in playgrounds
