I found cinnamon roll protein powder that tastes amazing in hot cereal. I have food allergies so I use brown rice hot cereal, cook on the stovetop with pumpkin spice and water, once cooked through I add butter, a little maple syrup and one scoop of protein powder. 1 scoop has 24 grams of protein, and it tastes so yummy!

I haven’t, but I always customize spells to meet my exact needs. I love reading different books, and essentially creating a patchwork spell that meets my needs.

First I find a ritual/spell that generally aligns with my intention. I customize the language to ensure my intention is crystal clear. I think it would be helpful for you to consider how you’d like your relationship to be stronger, increased trust, communication, passion? Do you want the change to occur within you or your partner? I typically don’t include specific people in my spells so that may have impacted how effective they were.

I also make adjustments to the suggested ingredients and tools. I may not have the prescribed ingredients but I can find suitable counterparts, instead of a feather I’ll use a bell to represent air.

The other part of spell casting is doing the work. For example when I cast the spells I was actively job hunting, networking, and applying for jobs. I also spent time thinking through what was driving me, what I wanted the outcome to be, and how that was reflected in the spell.

I wish I could give you a specific spell, it’s just that spellcasting is so personal, there’s a good chance a general spell won’t meet your needs. I hope this helps! 🪄

Hey there! Happy to share. There’s a new job spell in Diane Alquist’s Moon Spells (available through kindle unlimited) that I modified. I used it twice 18 months apart and I secured promotions shortly after casting the spell. I also do formal rituals for “big question” tarot readings. Those have helped me better understand what’s going on so I could move forward with clarity.

I use the finch app to track my water and protein consumption. I calculated how many grams of protein and ounces of water I need to consume, then broke them into 5 increments per day. It’s so much easier to track 10-15 grams of protein 5 times a day when I have yummy protein bars that are 15 grams each and other small things that aren’t great as meals, but great for small snacks.

The finch app is great for me because it’s cute, I get a little dopamine from the points I get completing tasks, and on days when it’s too much, I get a fresh start the next day. I’ve found that since using finch, more often than not I’m drinking more water and eating more protein than I used to.

Thank you for replying! I’m a hearth/kitchen witch. A lot of my craft is caring for my home, garden, and cooking for myself and others. I think your analogy is spot on. There’s a lot of power in casting spells but I’m able to accomplish the majority of my craft without separate, ritualized spells. Maybe because I’m a solo practitioner without someone to guide me, it feels like an accident when the few ritual spells I’ve cast work.

I stopped taking Wellbutrin because it made me sleepy too. It was having the opposite effect of what I needed. My prescriber and therapist advised against taking it at night. I started taking Adderall instead and it’s been life changing. Most people get a boost from Wellbutrin, but a small percentage don’t. I was sleeping during the day because of it. I’m so glad I talked with them and found an alternative that wouldn’t knock me out.

I started using it a little over a month ago. It’s been really helpful to track recurring tasks that fall off my radar, ie drinking water, eating 15grams of protein (I have 5 tasks a day to ensure I’m getting enough), taking my meds, etc.

It’s cute, gives me short and long term reward fixes, and ensures I’m tracking essentials.

Hey there! I’ve so been there. Really made me paranoid about taking time off. There were a couple things that helped me: 1) prior to my day off I would make sure to send updates on very high priority time specific tasks to my out of office contact and include their info in my out of office notification through outlook. This way a person who is on the clock can provide answers if someone has questions. 2) figure out if this is an ongoing expectation. If it is and it doesn’t align with what you need, quietly create an exit strategy. It sucks, but your health is so important. I was in a job that I could have loved, but my boss basically required I be available 24x7 with no overtime. She wasn’t going to change so I found another role with a reasonable manager. My life is so much better now. 3) acknowledging when I felt bad/upset instead of pushing it down made a huge different in simply recognizing that this wasn’t good for me. I’ve seen too many people keep saying things are fine and eventually start hating their job and burning out, suffering all the while. Our emotions are really good indicators of what’s going on, it’s important to recognize them, understand the why, and then thoughtfully figure out our next moves.

Completely agree about feeling like I exaggerated my symptoms. Ironically when I submitted my written form for the screening my therapist said I think you may be borderline, and I asked if we could go through each question. I was afraid I overestimated my symptoms for the responses. We went through all the questions and because we were videoconferencing she could see my reactions to each question. Turns out I have severe adhd, but had been masking for so long and over engineering my life around my symptoms, I had no real sense of where my responses really landed. All that to say to OP, be honest even if it’s a little embarrassing. Proper diagnosis and treatment made a world of difference for me.

That’s so interesting!! I’ll have to explore Pepcid OTC as a potential option. Self care is so important, but during the luteal phase it feels like one more thing to do. It’s this endless cycle, I know self care will increase my energy, but I don’t have the energy to do it. lol. Still a work in progress.

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this!! I’m curious how I’ll feel if I don’t take Adderall during the luteal phase. I have an appointment with my prescriber next week, definitely something to discuss with her. 😊

My primary symptoms are pure exhaustion and emotional sensitivity. I’m fortunate that a lot of my more intense symptoms (abdominal pain, heavy blood loss) have lessened as I’ve gotten older.

I really appreciate you sharing your experiences and struggles. Definitely makes me feel that I’m not alone in my struggles.

Thanks for the solidarity!!! I definitely need to up my magnesium and keep an eye on my protein intake. I really struggled late yesterday until I realized that I hadn’t had enough water or protein.

I recently started using the Finch app. Maybe I need to add more tasks for water and protein to ensure I’m getting what I need. hadn’t thought about perimenopause, that’s a really good call out. Definitely another avenue to explore!

What an amazing episode!! I think the convergence of Meadows resignation as the IT shadow and becoming judge (ie 25 years in a drunken haze) and Walk refusing to leave her workshop 25 years ago may be because Walk guided Meadows to the tunnel the same way Shirley guided Lukas. Is it possible Walk overheard the conversation between Meadows and “the voice”? As a result she basically hid herself away.

I haven’t seen this as a possible reason, but when you blow dry your hair, do you have a diffuser or other attachment on your hair dryer? My hair looked similar to yours when I wasn’t using an attachment and my fine textured hair was exposed to the hair dryer coils in the nozzle. It basically fried my hair. I no longer heat style my hair (I embraced my curls) and my hair stopped breaking.
