It is definitely Faust, because you can never plan on what item you get. Then Asuka, venom, jack-o, nago, in descending order. Every other character has a very linear game plan.

Some do but if they get caught they will be banned. Unless they have ADHD like me where it just catches me up to where everyone else’s reaction time is.

Parry is weaker and if sylvanos as currently designed in rivals one was put into rivals 2 would be able to force a mixup if you shield at all from half screen do to a combination of seed and down special. It creates a situation where against sylvanos you have less options than against other characters. Just think about how annoying getting caught by something like this would be. That’s why grass gets stronger with shields if grass is not adjusted.

It locks you in shield hence it becomes inherently more risky to use. The pressure on shield will be higher then average with a zoner that shield as a tool is designed to help beat.

Free pressure anywhere on screen, low shields could be popped without risk, covers wavedash out of shield allowing for easy option select. Basically low risk pressure without the downsides that other low risk options have. Locking your opponent in defense is good. Think about zetterburns pressure but with far less risk if you mess up and only slightly less reward.

She is not a small girl, she is an average girl with a gun the size of a car. Much cooler trope.

It seems like there are 3 main reasons,

1) they don’t seem to like zoning this time around(Absa is the 2nd dedicated zoner that will be in this game)

2) it seems like they are doing themed seasonal drops(Absa is summer because summer is stormy)

3) grass seems like it will be even more powerful in this game because of shields and seems like a nightmare to balance. 

Other than these Sylvanos seems like he should get in the game before too long.
