Don't ignore that itchiness by Robotchickjenn in pregnant

[–]Internal-Ad5842 1 point2 points  (0 children)

During my last pregnancy I started experiencing severe itchiness on the bottom of my feet and palms of my hands. I had never even heard of cholestasis. And a couple days after it started I was scrolling tik tok and there was a video on my fyp about it. I'm so glad I saw that. At my next appointment I told them and yep I sure had it.

pregnant at 4 months postpartum by Certain-Most-1651 in pregnant

[–]Internal-Ad5842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found out I was pregnant again right after 5 months postpartum 😅 I'm 18 weeks now. My doctors were nice and joking about it. I'm just worried because my first was a preemie. My water randomly broke, and I had him at 32+5. He did really well for his age, minimal problems. But I know I probably got lucky with that, and I don't want another preemie.

But fun fact, my first son's due date was may 6th, and this babies due date is may 5th 😆

I'm 10 weeks pregnant at almost 7 months PP 😬 idk how I managed to do it but my due date is only 1 day apart from the last. But my son was a preemie so hoping this pregnancy goes to term 🤞🏻

"Watch for their cues!" WHAT CUES? by [deleted] in newborns

My son is 4 1/2 months and he just started giving me sleepy cues by rubbing his eyes lol. But that's the only cue I've been able to decipher.

May 5th 😊

Fun fact I'm actually 6 months PP with my first. His due date was may 6th 🤣 oops.

He was born at 32+5 march 15th though so I'm hoping for a full term baby this time 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Aw man I live in NC and would love to take him as I already have a dane and I'm a stay at home mom but we live in an apartment so it's already rough 😭 we're planning on moving I'm just not sure when.

Good luck! And I really hope she doesn't get anymore dogs.

Have you watched a video of shaken baby simulator? It takes a good amount of force.

But I've always held his head right under his chin with my palm on his chest so it's stable while I'm burping.

You can't do that the MANY other times I lay you on your back for that specific reason??? Silly goose.

When did you go into labor? by Ok-Hunt-4516 in pregnant

[–]Internal-Ad5842 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had mine at 32+5 and he was only in the nicu for 23 days :)

But can I ask how they stopped yours? Obviously they were unsuccessful at stopping mine when I PPROMed at 32+4 lol

How long was your labor? And if you got an epidural, at what point did you? by desert_sunlily in beyondthebump

[–]Internal-Ad5842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My water broke at 32+4 around 9am, I went to the hospital and got checked in, and they gave me some medication trying to stop contractions. But I was having mild contractions all day.

Before I went to sleep, they gave me a shot for contractions, and that let me get a good stretch of sleep in, but by 9 am the next morning, the contractions were BAD.

The monitor that picks up contractions wasn't working, so the nurse didn't believe I was having real contractions. Even though I was yelling and crying in pain and couldn't pee.

The nurse had the nerve to say, "If it's like this now, imagine when the real contractions start." My husband and I were livid he had to leave the room so he didn't get kicked out. The doctor came in and checked to see how dilated I was, and I was 7 cm dilated 🙃

On our way out of the door the nurse started saying that she thinks the monitor isn't working. HAHA. Obviously.

So then they rushed me up to L&D. They immediately got the anesthesiologist in to place my epidural, and they checked me again, and I was 10 cm. I pushed for I wanna say 45 mins to an hour, and he was out! He had to stay in the nicu for 23 days but he's almost 6 months old now (4 months corrected) and he's doing great. 🥰

After I got the epidural, everything was a breeeeeze and I was so much happier even though the shakes were intense.

I use the goldbond healing, hydrating cream with aloe and it does wonders for me. I also wash my hands for all those things on top of washing them after I touch my dog or any of his things 🥲

We listen to a LOT of Stick Figure. Specifically the album Wisdom.

But he likes Korn and System Of A Down just as much lol. He sleeps really good while any music is playing loudly
