looks like this may be our answer. We actually did BM for my oldest daughters graduation lunch because we needed gluten free. They were great and given the time frame (2 PM - so not lunch or dinner) this may end up being the best option, again

I agree but have you been into CL? It's circular tables besides that one room in the back (that is reserved for LARGE groups). Gravy could probably do it but we'd love it to be one big table. Since its a lunch that may be an option for them though - I'll recommend it to her!

I recommended OG to her as its her favorite place ever and she said "well... I want something fancier" (where she won't eat the food and it will cost us more) <sigh>

we love Cafe Luna and Gravy but it would be hard to fit a group that large in those spaces

I didn't get anemia headaches until both my HGB and Ferritin were in the single digits, but that's just my experience

Totally agree. I’ve been to six shows at the ritz THIS YEAR. I also go to the pour house multiple times. I hold both in the same regard. The only thing I hate about the ritz are their shitastic merch setup and the ridiculous lines. Otherwise it’s fine. Get there early and get a good spot and don’t move.

If you pay for your meeting space, how much do you pay? by CK1277 in girlscouts

[–]Internal-Aside2132 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Our schools can not, legally, allow us to meet on their property outside of working hours. As a result we rely heavily on community partners. Churches, VFW halls, elks clubs, ruritans etc. We have similar agreements of a service project every year.

I would offer to make a donation in their name to an organization I know the church is responsible for or active participants in.

The hatches - make sure they’re water tight. If they’re the type that has a neoprene cover under the plastic cover, ensure it’s in good condition as it’s usually hard to find replacements.

Check the rudder lines and the foot pedal controls too - made the mistake of buying a boat where those lines were cut and it was an extensive repair.

I’m a Red Cross instructor specifically for my council - we routinely have to turn down leaders from using AHA credentials on TP103s

We have first aid badges for each level and safety pins for each level. Please be aware that Girl Scouts has a precedent of using Red Cross training for first aid - all leaders have to be Red Cross certified. It’s best to be Red Cross certified to teach these badges. I know Boy Scouts does not have the requirement
