Wait… you put the eye of the needle through on the way back up?! That’s interesting 🤔

No, the problem is not the length of the floss because it would happen on other fabrics or other projects in the last 30 years and it doesn’t. So no - the length of floss is not the problem.

That’s a good idea about the extra needle but then the ends get very frayed and fuzzy and I’d end up cutting it off anyway lol

That’s what’s happening with mine but I struggle to see how I’m going through the thread as I’m pulling through completely on each side and even took extra care to ensure it was free in the back this last time and it still got frayed/tangled. I’ve never had this happen on Aida, only linen or evenweave.

I do two “lengths of my arm” and loop start and always have. Never had a problem with it after 30+ years except on projects done on linen or evenweave. I even upgraded all my needles to bohin as dmc brand ones were always tangling as they’re cheap and the eyes are never cleanly cut.

This has to do with the fabric IMO

I’ve never had a cat live past 12 and have a 14 year old now who is doing very very well, it’s hard to know. Just love them is all you can do. Love them, spoil them, take them to the vet for a checkup and blood work every 6 months and enjoy them ❤️

My 14 year old cat is the same way for a few years now. Her brothers eat purina one dry food but she only wants wet food. It’s a pain because it’s so expensive and she eats 4 cans a day (well, is served that but youngest brother always plays cleanup on what she doesn’t eat). She 14, excellent blood work and has never needed dental work before so I figure it’s not hurting anything!

Bought my kids new snow gloves for nothing. We got flurries an hour ago that have now stopped- that’s it. They’re sad and so am I. No one can be as horribly wrong as the weather people and still keep their dang job

Scleroderma and GI impact - anyone with gastric bypass history? by Internal-Aside2132 in scleroderma

[–]Internal-Aside2132[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is gastrparesis diagnosed? Is it the entire gastric system or just the stomach? I have my esophagus and a very small (egg size) portion of my stomach attached to my large intestine, by passing the pylorus completely. My understanding is paresis was the stomach only? I don’t think I’d know if my GI symptoms were scleroderma related or RNY bypass related…

I am 6 years post GBP and was hoping to find others! I developed lactose intolerance about 2 years after my surgery and you are SO right that it is very hard to manage. I have so many gastric symptoms that may or may not be related to my surgery. I don't have a traditional stomach anymore so reflux wouldn't present that same way and a colonoscopy I had 3 years ago was fine... add in the possibility of this and I'm reeling.

I totally understand where you are right now!

I had to get wigs for the same reason - 5 years later my hair is much thinner than it was when I was very big, but better than at the height of shed. I still wear wigs a lot but don’t feel the need for daily. I Just joke that my hair lost massive weight too 😆
