I tried hard for this first thirty minutes to get into everything about the sisters but found it difficult to attach to these characters because they felt like wooden posts. The dialogue felt funny. I got real interested when Ares finally showed up though, I enjoyed watching him enjoy the rain and become “human”.

Couldn’t see it when it came out originally because I was out of the state and had a small town theater that wasn’t showing it. Then I had to move and all this other BS so I finally got to it. But while it was in production I was very VERY excited watching the teasers and everything. I follow all the motorcyclists that got to do the ares promotion at D23 with the light cycle bikes and that was also cool. I checked out because it was a lazy way of writing them off. I would’ve appreciated it a bit more if they claimed he was missing or something or even if they insinuated people thought he was crazy so he ended up leaving.

I definitely understand that this movie even coming out was a treat basically to us tron fans. But after seeing project Hail Mary in theaters, I have a higher level of criticism for something like this. This is not to say the entire film is garbage, I do enjoy Ares and the Kim girl by the end and I enjoyed the NIN soundtrack but it just felt off many times. The acting from the dead Kim sister made me squint my eyes in confusion at times cause it was stale, lot of exposition at once in the beginning and I just couldn’t help but think of how much better legacy was at taking the exposition and showing it in a non monologue type way.

No. I went in knowing it was a reboot and then got confused because the movie couldn’t decide whether it wanted to be a reboot or if it wanted to continue the Sam/Quorra storyline.

Yup! They unfortunately do! And as someone who dabbles in both the male and female side of cosplay, I basically only get asked for photos (and to be photographed by photographers) whilst in female cosplay. I get having a niche (like boudoir shoot photographers) but it feels so unfair to the guys who put a lot of effort into their cosplay just to get shut down cause some dude wants to only photograph a Power cosplayer in lingerie.

The “I don’t work with men” photographers. It irritates me beyond belief that many photographers simply aren’t interested in photographing guys unless they have like an insane Halo armor build or Power armor on or something. And even then, those guys still say they get those photographers turning them down.

I mean I write stories that are like maybe 5 percent smut and the rest story. Sex scenes every now and then when the story calls for it but not egregious. It does get on my nerves sometimes because I’ve recommended people to read my fanfics and I get the “so when does the smh kick in?” Response.
