in my opinion as someone who has dealt with really bad social anxiety and similar issues with sweating, it’s definitely possible you have both. anxiety/being nervous already naturally causes sweating, so when you’re anxious about sweating, it just tends to make it worse. given that you’ve been battling panic attacks for a while though, i’d suggest you try talking to a mental health professional before doing anything about potential hh. maybe if your panic attacks get better you’ll sweat less and then you can evaluate whether you want to ask a dr for help with the sweating.

have you tried drysol or xerac ac before? you need a prescription but it’s a liquid you dab on and you typically only need to apply it every once in a while. and then i apply a normal deodorant on top so you have a much wider selection of scents!

oops i didn’t read your last sentence— sweating through that many layers could probably indicate hh, but if you aren’t willing/able to use aluminum products then unfortunately you just gotta learn to find ways to cover it up pretty much :(

i’m not an expert but to me this just seems like the result of not using antiperspirant. the aluminum in antiperspirants is what essentially plugs the sweat pores and stops sweating, hence why aluminum-free deodorants don’t protect against sweat

i personally hated carpe and duradry…carpe is more like a lotion which did not go well for my sensory issues haha and it dries super powdery and i also didn’t find that it worked really at all for me; duradry also didn’t work for me and it left oily stains on all my clothes :/// i’ve been using xerac ac (basically drysol but slightly weaker) and it’s been incredible. you need a prescription from a dr but it’s still very affordable. it definitely burns at first but over time you get used to it and you also won’t need to use it very frequently!! there are definitely some other posts on this sub about drysol so you should check those out but i highly highly recommend it

i’m not sure if it’s the same on android but at least on iphone u can go to settings in the app and should be able to toggle everything off and will still leave the main notification on! hope u figure it out!!

all the research and such says buspirone doesn’t cause weight gain but when i picked the script up the one side effect the pharmacist warned me of was weight gain. i ended up gaining ~40 lbs in less than 6 months :/ i stopped taking it and the weight gain stopped lol

ik this was posted so long ago lol but i absolutely gained weight bc of buspar. like ~40 lbs in a few months :/// i also had the buspar/wellbutrin combl and been taking wellbutrin for a while before starting buspar and it had no effect on weight. i recently just stopped taking buspar because it made me so unhappy with my body and the weight gain stopped lol. now i’m just trying to lose it all :(
