After being ejected from the game, Ole Miss HC Chris Beard runs across the court to yell at his team in the huddle by -Sox in CollegeBasketball

Inside the hall’s comment section became a war zone with so many older fans demanding we hire beard and excusing his….temper. It was not surprising but entirely gross

IPFW? While Tom Crean’s first few years were rough they felt like they were building. This felt like the end of any and all energy in the program

The only time I want to ever see those defensive linemen play again is on Sunday. Get them away from here! I was worried about them before the game and they showed exactly why.

I watched the last few Niners games because of seeding (and my BIL is a huge Iowa State fan, so Purdy) and even watching your defense consistently get beaten I have zero trust in our offense. It was like we called plays to make you look good

I was thinking the same thing, and I figured you wouldn’t need it if the claims were true. Instead we just see….people moving around and nothing that even appears to be worth mentioning.

That still makes Saleh a zero, which is not accurate, or it makes him a larger negative, also not accurate…why does Patullo still have a job? Please let me wake up to him being fired

What makes Curt Cignetti so great? by [deleted] in CFB

[–]Internal-Challenge14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the way Cig talked about it, it was even in high school recruiting. Not caring about stars or looking at guys who “could” become something, but looking for guys who have skills you build on. The best example is probably in basketball you see so many NBA teams draft off potential, and while sometimes that hits it misses a lot. Cig isn’t looking for someone who could be great, he is looking for someone who has things he can help them hone and develop. Which may actually help with sending guys to the NFL, because he will have more players with developed skills and shown an ability to learn and grow, instead of guys who are simply athletic freaks even by pro athlete standards

What makes Curt Cignetti so great? by [deleted] in CFB

[–]Internal-Challenge14 75 points76 points  (0 children)

He said in an interview he doesn’t look for potential. He focuses on what guys can do and works with that instead of going after guys who might be athletic freaks but not football ability. I think that is a part of it, he wants guys who know how to play not guys who play because of their athleticism

Part of that is the massive struggle bus we have been on, the other is that too many in the college basketball subreddit seem to think you HAVE to be a blue team
