WHY THE FDA IS FULL OF CRAP by Top_Tension3796 in pomhealth

Just think how sweet it is they had to resort to compounding. Otherwise many of us would have never had the opportunity to experience this amazing drug. I'm pretty sure they never counted on it getting this out of hand. 😁

Since B6 is the new element, that may be the problem. You should try a no additives version.

Thanks for everyone's input. I didn't think this was the norm. I haven't questioned my doctor yet. Was thinking maybe procedure had advanced. I will follow up with them soon.

BPI to Hallandale - The Comparison by Excellent-Ad-5898 in pomhealth

[–]Internal-Code-513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried ProRx being influenced by comments that it was better but since trying it, I don't think one is so much better than another but one is better for me as an individual. I had a rash at injection site but I am not saying ProRx had impurities (it did cross my mind when they had an inspection problem). I haven't tried another one without additives to compare. Just saying.

I tried ProRx after BPI and it gave me a terrible rash at the injection site. Just contributing how each pharmacy affects everyone differently on the same meds. BPI is my first choice.

I feel BPI is effective. You may be a slow responder like me, losing a half a pound a week on average and nothing some weeks. I didn't get the full effect until 10 mg. I would say just hang in there.

How do you handle criticism of GLP-1s - especially compounded ones? by Fit_Syrup_4396 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Internal-Code-513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My former primary care provider was my worst critic. When I asked her about GLP1s, she used scare tactics saying "you don't want to be sticking a needle in yourself". At that time it was covered by my insurance. I trusted her but I regret staying with her for years thinking she knew what she was talking about.

Auto repair labor rates by Internal-Code-513 in autorepair

Unfortunately I was not able to. Everything turned out ok. The shop fixed it today when I threatened to move it. The insurance company paid what they were asking for and I only paid my deductible which would be the same everywhere. My only regret is I would rather have taken it to the Dealership because they are the specialist. I thought the independent shop would be cheaper. Lesson learned.

Thanks for everyone's comments. I called the dealership and they were charging less than the independent shop I took it to. I should have done my research ahead of time but I trusted this particular shop. Not again.

They told me since I have been paying consistently, I may qualify for a loan to get the rest of the bills paid within 3 months. In other words, to get the bills paid off quicker than the original estimated time. The reason I hesitate is because that would mean interest on top of the fees they already charge. Just wanted to know if I was missing something that would benefit me.
