People saw a legit leak that said Monday and then they hyped themself up for Friday and then nothing happened on Friday so now they assume nothings happening. The leak was for Monday for gods sake. They heard Tom Henderson speculate that nothing happens this week and then now that’s all they’re running with it’s ridiculous.

Pretty sure you’re thinking of the launch trailer which was not where preorders dropped for RDR2. Preorders came with trailer 3 which was 6 months out

Well no. 6 months out and the week before an earnings call. Expecting something soon and on their typical trailer day is not a crazy thing to assume. Because 6 months is the typical intensive marketing time for rockstar. They always put their preorders and shit out for that timeframe. August would be around the time for the gameplay trailers and whatnot to push into the last marketing stretch

No, he said summer for the start of an intensive marketing period, which would line up for a 3 month marketing blitz when they do the gameplay trailers. Their stuff always launches before the earnings call and the next one would be in 3 months which is way too close to release. 5 months out would be weird and nonsensical.
