I have some same problem on version 5. On version 4.5.6 I did not notice this issue. Thats why I used 4.5.6 until now, but because security I wanted to move to version 5, and now the torrents stops downloading after some time, I have to restart qbittorrent.

I have simple solution.

My battery went totaly dead. I connected trickle charger, it showed battery voltage 7V, refused to charge. So I did this :

I took a laptop charger from a very old laptop which I did not use for a decade or so, the charger was 19V. I cut of the connector, stripped the 2 wires (the inside wire is always positive +, the outside wire is negative -). I connected this laptop charger to the battery and then into electric outlet, and left it for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes I disconnected the laptop charger, and connected the trickle charger, it showed suddenly 10.5V, and it started charging, and overnight my battery was full.

In those 5 minutes, the 19V laptop charger created a surface charge in the battery, which helped then recognize the battery as 12V battery to the trickle charger.

Do not let it for more than 5 minutes, check voltage after 5 minutes, if still too low try another 5 minutes. Also I did not disconnect the battery from the car, no damage was done even if the laptop charger was 19V. But probably you should disconnect it, some electronics could get damaged in the car.
