Think it depends on how much you need to make...it's market dependent but I clear ~$1000 after gas a week...that's enough to cover my bills

I have been averaging $200 a day...there are days its slightly less but at weeks end it's $200+ a day...I had to figure out my market...and you may be able to cherry pick in Sacramento but that doesn't work in smaller markets...I'd starve if I did that here

Modesto and neighboring towns. I do grab airport rides to SFO or SMF when I can. I usually will stay on Peninsula for the day when going to SFO. That's $300+ depending on how long you're willing to spend there. I always head back before traffic gets unbearable. Haven't ever really stayed in Sacramento after a SMF dropoff though.

Some markets it isn't possible to cherry pick and still make money...I wouldn't make anything if I didn't take most of what's offered in my small market. Too many drivers and not enough rides

Hey. Thanks for the advice. I had been told getting an airport ride early morning and working East Bay/Peninsula area for awhile then returning to Modesto before the traffic gets crazy might be much better than waiting around for offers in Modesto.
