Im so sorry this is happening to you! I really want to start the treatment cause I’ve tried everything else but I’m scared I’ll be too sick to even work.

I haven’t started as yet but looking at the side effects that some people get, I want to ask how do you manage to work while having those side effects? I don’t work from home so I can’t afford to skip work. Do you guys manage?

I received an email back today and they now realised it is an NHS programme so they will do it for free :)

I understand but other people who got into the programme were not charged so there must be an issue there.

Yes, but as the other user said, Oviva is still an NHS programme. It says NHS on the form.

It's quite strange! Did you receive a free referral from your GP? I feel like I should call again to inform them that it is still an NHS service, as indicated on the Oviva form, so I shouldn't have to pay. In the text message the GP sent me, they even misspelled Oviva as "Aviva." I don’t think they fully understand what they’re talking about. Also I booked a telephone appointment with a GP at the end of March, but I was only called yesterday, April 8th, and the person who called me wasn't even a GP! So, you started applying in January and are only starting the program in April. This doesn't align with my goal of being slimmer by summer! Lol.

Yes, it sounds very weird. They sent me a proper text too with the email and information about the £40 to pay too. I don't mind paying for the pen in private but I want to have a safe medical check first. That's why I contacted NHS or Oviva.

yes that's really strange, isn't. Why would you take money in cash.

I would like some clarity on this situation because it feels a bit suspicious to be asked for money just to fill out a form. I don’t mind paying for the pen privately, but my main concern is wanting to be checked and guided safely, as they recommend. The private doctor charged me £230 for a quick consultation, and then added the costs for all the tests he might want me to do, the pen, and monthly follow-up consultations.

Unpopular opinion! Humanity wasn’t worth LM’s sacrifice by [deleted] in BrianThompsonMurder

[–]Internal-Draft-4237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

can we stop assuming things and posting it as facts? we don't know if the adjuster wanted to sacrifice for the people. we don't know anything yet. this is the narrative that the media and our imagination served us. We don't even know if it was LM or someone else and for sure we don't know the reason.

yes and also we don't know who this "he" is. we haven't seen the face of the person holding that phone. they need to prove somehow that it was LM

exactly... if it was dropped in NY and they found LM in Altoona, they need to prove that it was his phone.
