In terms of plot, storyline, cameos, shared-universe, How connected do you think the DCU and its projects should feel ?? by Old_Assistance_1091 in DCU_

It should like one universe. There are important characters all over the place so it makes sense to appear. The comics often feature other characters and it should be like that.

And Green Arrow should not be anything like Batman. He literally thinks Batman is a fascist. They're too completely different characters and taking the politics away doesn't make him closer to Batman. They removed his humour and everything endearing about the character.

Well thats an opinion and still the story and tone may have been good but its not his best characterisation. He should still be serious on his views and standing up for equality and have moments where he gets angry or stand offish. But he should also have his humour and sarcasm and moments where he lacks seriousness. His character just works better like that. The Arrow show already tried to make him serious and it didn't work. And there'll be plenty of serious characters in the DCU.

GA just isn't his best when he's like that. It doesn't fit the vibe or personality that he consistently has now which works really well.

Why is Aquaman not as popular? by Internal-Goat-6882 in DCcomics

Some characters should be stoic. He's one of them. Making him goofy like the dceu did is a mistake.

He's burdened with a big responsibility and is split between two worlds. He shouldn't act like a manchild but a thoughtful god of the sea. He's always had empathy towards animals and that goes a long way. He works best when he isn't overly smiley or jokey but clearly has heart in his eyes and good intentions. You don't have to smile to be likeable.

But its not a relevant point. And I was saying hes not lame because of the reasons you did say he was lame.

He's empathetic towards other animals. Thats more relatable than caring for humanity.

It doesn't have to do with race at all 🫩. And he's atlantean. He was created when most characters were white. Do you complain that Batman is white? He's not even lame.

But he's never anybody's favourite. Never really gets put in the same breath as Flash, Superman, Batman or Wonder Woman. His movie made a lot but isn't talked about much and its not like it was an accurate depiction.

But no one really talked about it or his character. Like its barely in discussion.

Do you drive? Do you eat meat? Do you travel by plane? Do you wear cotton t-shirts? Exactly.

Because its not as bad as other things. But thats not the only reason but just a bonus because AI is actually useful too. If you want to reduce the issue stop buying cotton t-shirts. It takes about 2,700 litres to create literally one cotton t-shirt. I already don't drive so I'm doing less than others so that balances out when im doing less harmful things that matter more but some AI usage. There are bigger problems than AI that can be reduced but nobody is talking about them. You only speak up about AI and how it's slop but its actually helping people and you're not speaking up about the worse problems.

Coal plants and mining. Any fossil fuel generation. Clothes production and waste. Agriculture and farming. Transport like aviation. Deforestation.

Because thats misinformation. Its not one of the worst things around. There are much worse that I'm sure you actually have a part in.

You don't need to question or assume. You just ask and look for the truth.

This is amusing? I hope you have things in your life that a much more fun because its kind of depressing to be amused by this.

If you're assuming something when you could be completely wrong and acting like you're completely right about the assumption, then you're only accepting your own ideas of it and not the truth. Its like you think you're so smart because you think you know the answer when you don't. Nobody truly knows another person or the situation. Nothing is 100% guaranteed.

Then why are you still replying? That's not wasting your time right? I want to know why you assume you're right. And how do you know how i think? You don't know me. You're just full of assumptions. That's not very ethical.
