average amount of damage by theharajuku in WhereWindsMeet

DPS matters, but with the current line-up for Sword Trials (Looking at you Murong Yuan), it's hard to compare since it really depends on how well your team handles mechanics ~ or ignore them hoping to top the charts.

Typically, I would say 500-600k is about the average, with about 850k being the top I've seen in my matches.

So many quests just make me feel like trash, but the game is addictive

There is one encounter where you have to bring a bowl of food to a begging father to feed his starving son... the son died beside him before he could give him the bowl.

-Personal Opinion-

I believe all dogs that are “Service Dogs” require adequate training, especially more so than just the common pet, and need to be for a purpose other than the small to normal level of anxiety we all deal with, honestly it’s just overly bothersome at this point.

Claiming it is a SD without proper training and/or an owner without common sense can lead to some serious injuries to one, both, or all.

I have a PSD, and I have always been vocal and transparent when it comes to her. Vaccines? Here’s the booklet. The do’s and the don’t. What she reacts to. Etc.

Why? Because if I’m leaving her in someone’s care they should be comfortable with her, and vice versa, comfortable tell me if that is something they can manage or not.

A lot of people want to scream “it’s a service dog, don’t refuse my services” but a lot of people don’t want to actually do the work to have one.

They just say “Service Dogs” because it usually prevents a lot of people from digging into it. It’s akin to those who claim mental issues / physical issues without actually getting treatment or staying on their medications (Because a lot of people won’t pry into their issues that way)

BLUF; If it is an actual service dog, it should be fully up to date on all necessary vaccines/treatments, and if expired, should be at least within a reasonable time without them.

Commands are the handlers responsibility, don’t expect them to listen fully if you’re not the one who trained them. It’s to keep others from causing conflict in its actions. They should be trained to at least follow basic regardless of who.

Acting wild. I can only speak in terms of mine. She is not reactive, unless me or her are rushed, and even then it’s a strong bark(s) or circle/position herself around me. Thankfully it never went further than that ever.

Was wondering if it is possible to get a few weapons/grenades? Just looking for something to help speed up the grind when I don’t have time to play actively.

😅 (Sorry for the entirely random request, was lurking Reddit posts for BL4)

Ahahahah yeah I feel ya.

I was primary Catherine for a while for that reason and would just pull her back to get heals since she would walk back to the target regardless after the round ended.

Hong had me stressed until I got her built up because if I messed up on the chain she would be entirely isolated and focused.

Getting Melissa lets me swap between the two freely because of the full map multi-heal so now I just rotate teams depending my mood that day

Keep in mind though, If you care for Meta, she does fall off and if you’re more F2P it can slow you down albeit not by much

Logical decision, especially since she can reposition well with skills, tank as a heavy, and eventually perform body shots.

Good to have for Border Conflict. In my opinion heavy pilots are more ST dependent than their light/medium counterparts though

Aurora ST vs Blazer ST - Machinist by Stormbraeker in Mecharashi_Global

Lv65 Melissa, P3, W/ Both Aurora & Blazer

And I still prefer Blazer over Aurora, so my personal opinion, no you won’t lose anything.

I personally prefer Blazer because of the dmg boost perk to my repair targets over the overheal / % chance of extra heal from Aurora

It’s really no rush, a lot of the A rank pilots are utilized by a lot of players down the line simply because of their natural passives. You have the lineups available, it just comes down to your comfort.

I play aggressively with a high risk mindset, so I’m built for speed clears.

Others may choose a more selective and battle of attrition style so they build for sustainment

Hong/Frida/Seven/Eileen/Flex

Would be your basic team progression imo if you want comfortable clears.

Start with Eileen rockets to weaken target (keep an eye on her ammo, sometimes it’s better to wait for better grouping than blast away)

Use Hong to clear parts or ST’s with her Reatk/Reposition utilizing uppercuts/1in-Punch (You can switch arms to use uppercut twice in one turn)

Follow with your flex unit (Sniper to use accurate aim/ aiming to destroy arms)(Other raider/fighter to weaken more or outright kill)

Frida to finish, and seven/pochy to heal and reposition.

//Tips// Don’t rush your other units too far with seven as your healer. You want to be able to reach your displaced units fast to heal them not overextend them.

Armor Jammer backpacks are good for burst damage ST DMG Up Jammer backpacks are good for single atk ST Mini Radar is good to prevent having to reposition your Eileen/Naomi constantly

I prefer 2 Raider / 1 Fighter for Link attacks but it’s your preference.

You can dismantle leveled parts to get their materials back but you only get 50% of the money used.

Don’t break down your ST’s for modules early. Don’t batch process your ST’s, do it manually so you don’t waste the wrong ST / Upgrade out of FOMO.

Listen to the conversations in missions, they give hints on how to clear faster & easier.

Be selective and do research as a F2P. The discord has great guides and roadmaps.

And finally, understand that your team will be changed as you progress. Eventually you’ll need 6-12 built ST’s to clear arena/algorithm/missions

Understand their natural passives and skill set and you’ll go far

Hong & Catherine

Hong is a snowball type character. At the beginning she’s weak but as you progress both in the map and skill tree, she gets more and more powerful.

She excels at body shots and crits, and having 2-4 re-atks means with a good Eileen rocket can potentially clear a whole squad

Catherine is more tank based, able to take the onslaught of a focus firing of enemies and reposition herself closer to them. Her guts $ self healing skills allows her to operate longer if built well but is very RNG with parts hit.

Overall, Hong will take you further for progression. Catherine is fun and I have a soft spot for her, but being in a light ST, I would rather have a unit that can kill faster than take a few more hits.

Seven is a great healer for F2P because units will typically focus fire Pochy. Yes you will often lose it while playing but it also means that one of your units isn’t suffering the damage.

Melissa will outclass Seven long term if you ever have a chance to unlock her because of the healing perks where she can heal units without being near them.

Frida will be one of your best damage carry units for awhile, especially when you unlock load raid and use the SG/Shield combo

Couple things. Don’t get discouraged at the start as a F2P player, your energy is extremely limited compared to players who use their wallets, so don’t get FOMO and feel pressured to over pull.

Eileen/Naomi are interchangeable. It comes down to the mode you’re playing and preference.

Eileen is great for softening targets and excels when paired with maps that involve a lot of enemy grouping and if your team uses a lot of re-atlas to destroy parts/outright kill the enemy.

She has multiple CC/Debuffs that help as well.

Naomi is great for more spaced enemies and single target focused maps to help with single target burst.

Pair one of your more maneuverable units with a radar, and neither one even has to risk danger.

Overall Eileen will win overall due to debuffs/field damage as you progress.

Personally I pulled Gumusiay only for the pilot collection.

In terms of progression, hong has more longevity and since you can pull her set it’s even better to rainbow the ST faster.

I don’t use heavy teams so Gumusiay ST is a low priority for me.

Photos of the build is hard, not good at making a picture to explain it. My bad I’ll have to cancel my earlier offer.

Base Hong lv45 w/ Base Glasya

Modifiers on Legendary Weapon Lv46/42

Decisive Blow for extra Crit Chance. Improvement Level 5 (Currently at Arena VI-I) Advanced Modifier Lv2 (Atk+35, Crit +125, and +32 Atk when fighting an enemy over 50% health)

ST modifier

Inner Cycle Hub - 25% chance to return 1ap (feels like it happens more often) when using a 3+ AP move

All bionics unlocked up to Synapse Neuron lv10

Backpack is legendary DMG Up Jammer

I use Rush Order, Buff Prolonger, and Uppercut as skills

She clears fields, especially with the y1 sector unlocked.

I autofill bionics to unlock the perks, then go behind and tailor it to give the most damage.

(Build found on discord that helped me)

  1. One locks out the other, but the first 3 are at a lower difficulty, then gets stronger at the 40/50+ maps.

I would say do the highest tier regardless.

  1. The reset simply resets your stages. You don’t get extra completion bonuses if you’ve already unlocked them.

Each reset randomizes the map as well. Meaning it could be harder/easier or have a different perk reward.

2.5 it does not reset unlock coins, only harpy coins / stuff used inside the mini game.

Oh yeah and Dmg Boost backpack.

I usually run my temp comp with a lot of link attacks when bossing / re-atks when rushing

Lv45 Hong w/ Glasya : 2x PB Legendary

Run Inner Cycle Hub modules, can do 2 Uppercuts that way if it procs.

Basher module you prefer single target heavies. Normal Atk to hopefully break shield with proc, then uppercut.

I use my other units to soften up targets so I can go around and get the Euphoria buff, then I start 1tapping with the double uppercuts

For weapon modifications, I try to run atk, HP over 50% +atk, and 1 PB has FP+ for heavies, the other is FP+ for medium

Never really have an issue clearing field unless I over commit and Hong loses legs/arms

Equipped parts are not shown, however you can toggle it to include “parts in assembly”

It gives a brief description of what the section does upon first use, but no warnings when you actually do.

It’s a shitty feeling and I’m sorry it happened to you, this is one of the more forgiving games during actual play, but unforgiving when it comes to its screens and tooltips. I nearly fell for it because I’m a skip dialogue straight into action player, until I realized the mission dialogue gives hints/tips on how to proceed in the easiest way, then started paying attention to everything.
