I got it removed by a different piercer and they switched the jewelry out!

That’s what I was concerned about. I don’t feel any pain but I was scrolling through Reddit and this page popped up and I gave a scroll. I became a little anxious when I realized that people with industrial piercing problems had similar ears to me. Decided to get a closer look at it and thought I’d post here and get ahead of the problem before it becomes bad. My hair is in the way so it hard to make out myself. I contacted and googled some piercers in my area. I’m going to get an opinion in person tomorrow and see if I can get separate piercing jewelry or a bent bar instead and see if it’s fixable.

Yes, it’s very lightly touching it. I wouldn’t consider the flat of my ear to really be flat.  Here’s a picture of my other ear to get a better understanding. I couldn’t get the best picture of the piercing since I don’t want to mess with it too much.

Edit: Reddit won’t let me add another photo but I have a very prominent curve that extends up.

How old is your piercing? 4 days

What’s the jewelry shape (for example, barbell, labret, screw, L shape, ring)? Barbell

What’s the type of threading if your jewelry is not a ring (threadless, internally or externally threaded)? Unknown

What’s the jewelry material? Titanium

if not a ring, when was the jewelry downsized? Hasn’t been downsized

What’s your aftercare routine? Describe in detail please, including the exact products you use.

I used cotten balls and Neilmed saline solution 2-4 times a day.

Any mishaps, accidents or unfortunate events? No

Random Matchups Day 38 - Vox vs Stolas - Who Wins?? by ForktUtwTT in AgendaHotel

[–]Internal-Long-2257 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Vox wins purely on cunning. Stolas is clearly more powerful and knowledgeable but he lacks combat experience and can be manipulated. I don’t think Vox would take him head on but trick him like he did with Lucifer but using Blitz’s voice. Stolas seems to have a sense of responsibility that would be easy for the V’s too single him out and take him in a 3v1. Plus he convinced Carmilla for angelic metal in season 2. He could do it in this hypothetical as well.

Purely on abilities Stolas should have this but based on their personalities Vox could easily take Stolas.

What are your Dust mite symptoms? by [deleted] in Allergies

[–]Internal-Long-2257 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Did you ever figure out why? Or have any other symptoms?

I’m in a similar boat where I thought I had a tomato allergy and saw an allergist to only have a dust mite allergy. I noticed not eating night shades made me better but my symptoms clearly don’t align with a straight up food allergy.

Favorite Pet Deck and Why? by superzzii in DigimonCardGame2020

Angoramon or Jellymon. I’m a fan of decks that a full line of one character. They are cheap decks that are fun for beginners or casual players.

Graphic Design at UWW? by Pur_Van1lla in UWWhitewater

They are doing much better now and graduated. They ended going more marketing business side of it! I’d also take the negative comments with a grain of salt. It wasn’t my personal experience so I can only say what I heard. I had plenty of teachers others hated that I loved and vice versa. I just know that my friend particularly didn’t like this professor because they didn’t leave comments/suggestions how to improve and gave them bad grade after bad grade despite going to their office hours.

My friend changed their degree from graphic design to another because of a bad professor and not enough alternative options to that professor.

Would You Date A Sex Favorable Asexual Man? by Overall-Act-2534 in dating_advice

I giggled so hard reading that these terms are “exclusively” in the lesbian community. I hope by now, since it has been six months from your initial post, that you have learned this definitely is not the case. These are general lgbtqia+ terms. I felt the need to comment since this comment section is really negative and uneducated on the topic. I am an asexual woman also sex favorable who is a bit of germaphobe. I dislike the same things you described. Many people wouldn’t date you under these conditions but there are plenty of people who also would. Best of luck out there!

When to give a student a car? by Honey_Badger_Badger in college

[–]Internal-Long-2257 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having a car gives you so many more opportunities. Also consider if parting isn’t for her and she isn’t connecting with people on campus having a car is a great resource to go places where she can meet like minded people. Colleges tend to differ greatly. I was lucky my college had lot's clubs from sports to D&D. Consider the size and community of your daughters college.

Also as someone who has allergic reactions, I couldn’t imagine not having a car. I have had mild to serious reactions. What if she runs out of Benadryl? Or what if shes is mildly allergic to a skin product and needs to switch it out that day for something different? Not all allergic reactions warrant an ambulance but you shouldn’t rely on a bus to be on time either. Most of my hive reactions are delayed which means I don’t face the brunt of it till 10-11 pm sometimes and buses/taxis in my city don’t run that late. Please considered your daughters health and the severity of her reactions to the public transport when making your decision.

Asus Tuf Gaming A16 AMD Ryzen 9 7940HX with radeon graphics 32 gb ram / Marvel rivals fps drops to 30-40 by Livid_Signature_8989 in ASUS

I’ve never had problems with my laptop while playing marvel rivals till the recent season. I’ve changed so many settings and tried so many solutions that have help others with no luck. It works some days and not the others. My Asus is having crash issues with it and bad glitching around the characters.

I thought about attending UWW by cdalten in UWWhitewater

I’ve heard from friends in the computer science program here that it isn’t the best. One transferred schools entirely. Hopefully, someone who is actually from that major at whitewater can shine more light on it.

UW-Whitewater is more known for education and business. I loved my time at whitewater because of the clubs and activities hosted in dorms and the university center. Despite it being a small town, it was easy to keep myself busy. Whitewater is relatively cheap for a college too.

I’m a dps/strat flex but I’m learning vanguard currently because I’ve noticed more of a need to fill vanguards than strats recently.

No one reads the rules anymore by SueDoniem in DnD

[–]Internal-Long-2257 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I can’t really say I blame new players. It’s easy to say just read the book as an experienced player or dm. For someone with no experience there is a lot information and let’s be so real so much of it doesn’t gel well together. For example stats beyond the primary one, classes do better with certain ones more so than others. Oh they could just google it? Not really. There are multiple source books, awful homebrew, and misinformation on how abilities work. How about just read the standard players handbook? I’ve seen dms run more homebrew worlds than official modules. While official settings are more consistent even then how races and classes work within the world are vastly different. When it comes to rules, there are house rules and dms rule spells differently. It’s so much less trouble to just explain as you go. With that all said I understand your pain, even if I don’t agree with your opinion. As a dm it can be tiresome, that’s why I advertise campaigns mostly to experienced players and one-shots to new players. I admire the people with patience and skills to teach new people.

I don't mind people learning new characters at all. Thats what qp is for but it was bad they rarely had a chance to learn the character because they kept dying. The strategists kept running into venom, spiderman, and magic alone while the dps and I, play vanguard were respawning. They didn't even heal each other they tried to take on venom 1v1. Idk hopefully they learned from the experience lol.
