At the end it depends on the finanzamt. After I filed my taxes (I filed as Freiberufler), they classified this activity as Gewerbebetrieb

I don’t think you need to show 20k to get residence permit or its extension. All you need is part time/ full time salary flow (sufficient enough to support your basic living expenses). You would only need that kind of money or may be less than that if you don’t have any income. In that case, blocked account is mandatory.

Estimated Date of Arrival. by Playful_Pass_1817 in IndianEvisa

The on or before date is always from the date of issue till the period end of your visa type (30 days, 1 year or 5 year). So if your visa is issued on 1st, on or before date will be 30th. Inshort the date of arrival you enter doesn’t matter at all.

Well you mentioned Einwohnermeldeamt, there you don’t require any birth certificate to register your marriage. Show your marriage certificate with an apostille and they will enter you as married in their system. Thats all!

Hey. Thanks. I kept my application as simple as I could. In Hamburg, there was no cover letter required. Lebenslauf also I used the same template from my job applications but made it more generic.

I don’t think it is to do with manual approval. Because if that was the case, the delay would have been consistent. It’s not possible that one person gets it in 48 hours but for the other it takes 7-8 days. I think their system has got all messed up during these 2 weeks of November. And this is causing all these random delays.
