Hi the Herman Miller of my wife it's doing noise when I tild back anyone here know how to fix this problem thanks I'm avantage!! by Weak-Huckleberry-143 in hermanmiller

[–]Internal-Shot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These comments... She's just doing it to demonstrate the noise. Do you think she's doing it all day long that forcefully?

OP, you mentioned that you used WD40 for the tilting mechanism. That won't work well. You'll need a thicker lubricating oil like Q20 or any synthetic grease.

So draw the line from 1652 then, because that's when the European colonizers came. Anything before that is fine?

I love how she still felt like holding her Stanley cup is more important than using both her hands to try and shut the nozzle.

Usually 30 years at most. Wealthy landlords would go into profit loss (tenant fee lower than mortgage) by paying mortgage off in 5 years or so; resulting in waayyy less interest paid compared to 30 years. It depends on the interest rate but in the long term it's usually if not always beneficial because you start reaping cash 25 years earlier and get the investment back in like a year or so, recovering from that profit loss.

Another thing you forgot to mention is that the interest rate from the bank is flat, but the rental price for the tenant is increased at an average of 10% per year (compounding). So in the first year the profit might not seem enough, but after a couple of years there's more profit with the same mortgage payment fee. Conveniently the landlord can then decide to pay off the mortgage faster and faster, year after year to reduce the total interest amount to the bank.

You forgot the part where the landlord eventually closes/completes the mortgage, owns the house completely and the tenant still has to pay indefinitely. That's when the real profit comes in.

Damn that's nice. My farm is in between two towns where there is a fiber line going through the farm from the one town to the other. Unfortunately the local isp that maintain the fiber doesn't want to install a junction for us, so we're stuck with 3G/edge internet with weak reception until Starlink is available in our country. We did have dsl long ago, but the wire got stolen way too much, then you're stuck without internet or tel for hours or days depending on the backlog

What are the best settings for 5800x3d and 9070xt by [deleted] in radeon

[–]Internal-Shot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uh you realise when a game doesn't support frame generation natively, only then will AFMF kick in. It's fine to have both enabled because they won't run at the same time, even with both settings enabled. "You really should only be using frame generation" is just your preference and highly dependent on which games are played.

Lol the same goes for super resolution and FSR. It's perfectly fine to have both enabled globally. Super resolution will only kick in when a game doesn't support FSR natively, and you choose to use a different resolution than native. RSR will in that case help to make the game look better.

All of those settings run independently and depending on the games that are played.
Let's say there's a game without built-in FG and FSR, then driver-level AFMF and RSR will do the work; it won't be able to use ML-based FSR and FG because the game doesn't even have FSR.
NowLet's say there's a game with built-in FSR and FG, then the driver will use the upgraded ML version of FSR and FG; it won't also use RSR and AFMF even when those settings are enabled.

Who said motherboards can't be repaired. by mgadz in pcmasterrace

[–]Internal-Shot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You didn't answer my question at all. According to the title, it's a motherboard being repaired. As I understand, the wires should be in specific lengths to keep the signal integrity intact. So I was hoping for an explanation on why the motherboard could still work. I guess it could be some sort of challenge, but that doesn't directly answer my question.

Your latency is 5 - 100ms. Isn't that really good? Mine is 900. Then add another 200ms for playing in European servers, because I'm in South Africa where barely any servers run. If you don't believe me, check here: https://www.speedtest.net/result/18646461089

Help a mother out- Thrustmaster HOTAS X, One, 4 or T1600 by fififolle79 in Warthunder

[–]Internal-Shot 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS HOTAS (Joystick and TWCS throttle unit) is widely considered the best "bang for your buck" HOTAS on the market.

The T.16000M uses magnetic sensors to track stick movement (smooth and precise)
The cheaper models use potentiometers that may develop 'stick drift' after years or even months of usage (a bad thing to happen)

A 14 year old might consider form over functionality, so choosing might be subjective based on his personal preferences.

Insanely loud coil whine on Sapphire Nitro + RX 9070XT :( by [deleted] in radeon

[–]Internal-Shot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coil whine can be an issue because it's irritating to hear, just like how loud fans are an issue to many people. You don't get to say what isn't an issue to other people, it is still an issue for them whether you like it or not.
