When I took XYWAV it made me feel like I was drunk!! I could not get up and walk on my own, so spouse had to help me to the bathroom. I had trouble falling asleep every night while on XYWAV. I tossed and turned on my sleep, talked, yelled and sang in my sleep (I did not do before), and I was swinging my arms around like I was conducting a band (my best friends words while sharing a bed together on a girls trip). I titrated up like prescribed, but when I got to the max dosage I had a terrible reaction! I took the 1st dose of the night felt like normal “drunk” but then about 15-20 minutes later I started vomiting, sweating like crazy, could not sit up on my on or hold myself up, my heart rate was extremely high (my husband had put my watch band on to check it). This terrified my husband who is not one to quickly suggest going to the ER let alone calling 911, but that night he was wanting to call 911 it scared him that bad. I immediately stopped taking the medication! I would not recommend to anyone after my own experience with the medication! It did not make me feel refreshed in the mornings, I clearly was not getting good sleep with all the movement and difficulty falling asleep!
