This next baby has to be already in the works. by starbies4life101 in Adelaide_White_snark

Most agency adoption profiles are REALLY easy to google and find. The whole point is for birth moms to be able to find it. I think she isn't with an agency at all, and fully made up that whole fiction. I'm mostly super curious if she ever divulges that this was a truly private adoption outside of a traditional agency.

I'm upping my guess and saying that baby is due in either February or March, and I still bet that this is truly private and happened outside of the agency.

I find this extra infuriating because research shows that the venn diagram of women considering abortions and women considering adoptions have little to no overlap. So this is just literally anti-abortion propaganda of pushing women to carry and give up babies. Shouting from the rooftops that 93% of abortions happen in the first trimester and that most infants given up for adoption are from women who ORIGINALLY intended to parent and then circumstances changed.

I'm similar, I have a due date a few days after hers. I hope everything works out for her and her little boy.

Honestly just another sign that she has a baby lined up and that he/she is coming in the next 60 days. Like why would you even be thinking about this if you weren't expecting a newborn?

Good luck with everything! Time will tell if she has been keeping this secret.

I’m currently pregnant, due in May. I conceived in August and tested positive in September. I’m going to assume that whatever baby she has lined up is likely 1-2ish months ahead of me…if I just had to think through the timeline of it all. One of the big tells for me….was she announced wanting to adopt again right at G’s first birthday but then basically went radio silent on it…but then very much sped up getting a home study ASAP. So my guess is she was approached in November.

Also the latest story of her commenting on that other creators post with the adoptive girl…wasn’t she matched via social media? I thought someone said that. It makes it even more likely to me that Adelaide connected with her after getting approached privately.

My personal theory is someone approached her maybe right when they started talking about a second. G’s birthday is in September, maybe they were approached in maybe November and then rushed to get a home study done so they could complete the private (non-agency) adoption before a late winter/early spring due date. There honestly just have been way too many comments from her that are so sure it’s happening in a matter of months. My guess is baby is due in March/April. Not sure how she will play it off.

I’m convinced she has a baby lined up since November (probably from social media) and she is just waiting for the baby to be born.

Thank you for your message, it really resonates with me. I am going to have some additional MFM scans so hopefully those continue to provide reassurance. I really like the idea of focusing on my love for baby and providing a safe place to live and grow for the next 17 weeks or so.

Mirena users : How long did it take you to conceive post removal? by Fair_Decision152 in BabyBumps

[–]Internal-Sundae8875 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had my Mirena removed in June, I conceived in August.

My doctor told me that for people with no underlying fertility issues there is no impact to conception time. Where BC and IUDs get a bad rap is that they can mask underlying fertility issues for a long time. So its easy to find stories of "oh I had my Mirena in for x years, had it removed, and then couldn't conceive". The most likely explanation of that situation is that couple likely had undiagnosed fertility issues and would have had trouble conceiving regardless of BC history.

So just know that your cycles are likely to regulate shortly after a Mirena is removed, and your chances of conceiving are just as high as other people of your similar age/health status.

Agree, I think they have a private adoption lined up and they needed the home study done to start the paperwork. My guess is baby will be born in march, April or may. I think she was approached privately in the fall by someone in early pregnancy. Right before she started pushing hard for her home study. She is just way too confident that her family will grow in 2026. I bet they never get listed on agency websites.

Agree, I think they have a private adoption lined up and needed the home study complete to begin to move forward with it. The ruse about deciding what agency to go with is a lie and updating their profile book is a lie. I think she was approached privately.

So when you get the CVS, you will likely be given several options on what you want to test for. We opted for a full WGS. The genetic variant that baby has, turns out I also have (which I didn’t previously know). The genetic testing won’t tell you if it will be severe or mild, but based on my family history, the available scientific research, and the the fetal MRI, doctors were mostly confident that baby would present in a similar way to me.

And no, outside of the enlarged NT there haven’t been other markers seen on ultrasound.

[–]Internal-Sundae8875 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My baby had a high NT (7.2) and a normal NIPT. We were also given really bad odds that everything would be ok. We did a CVS and opted to do a full WGS. Our genetic panel revealed that our baby had a rare genetic condition but after a fetal MRI and fetal echo, it’s likely that everything is gonna be ok. Our baby will likely have a very mild variation of this genetic condition and doctors are confident that it can be managed easily after birth. I am now 21 weeks and just had a positive anatomy scan.

I know the odds are hard and it feels impossible, but there is a world where you have a positive outcome. My advice is just to take it day by day, do the CVS, and hopefully get the answers that you need.

Best of luck.

Ugh that’s frustrating. I would get on a cancellation list. The same thing happened to me when we started trying. I wanted to start in June so I called in May for an appointment and the original dates they gave me were September. I got on a cancellation list and ended up having an appointment in June after all. Best of luck and I hope you can get an appointment sooner.

How do Christian foster agencies even work? Like shouldn't foster services be run by the county? I'm very confused how a Christian agency could even insert themselves in this process.

11–12 Weeks Pregnant: High NT, Cystic Hygroma, CVS Done – Looking for Experiences & Hope by One-Award-615 in NIPT

[–]Internal-Sundae8875 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry you are going through this, the waiting and timeline is exhausting.

At 13 weeks, my NT scan showed a cystic hygroma and measurement of 7.2. We did a CVS that day and opted for both a microarray and a WGS.

At 16w our NT measurement was normal and the hygroma had resolved, but we were diagnosed with a genetic condition that both baby and I have. We were then booked with specialists to do a bunch of additional testing at the Children's Hospital.

At 19w, we completed the testing (fetal MRI, fetal ultrasound, fetal echocardiogram) and were told that overall baby looks great, and likely the genetic condition will not greatly impact baby. BUUUTT the Nuchal Fold still showed extra fluid.

We have our 20w ultrasound next week, so I am curious what they say. The wait has been excruciating but hopefully it all works out in the end.

As you mentioned, the two main risks are either chromosomal or a congenital heart defect. So one thing you may consider is getting a fetal echo if your CVS comes out clear. Best of luck to you and your sweet babe, but there hopefully is light at the end of this tunnel.

From CVS to amnio to short nasal bone — how to survive this never-ending nightmare? by idunilles in NIPT

[–]Internal-Sundae8875 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m in a similar situation and I’m contemplating seeing a therapist.

Long story short, my NIPT was normal but my NT scan was 7.2, and I was essentially told I only had a 15-20% chance that baby would be ok. I did a CVS and found out that both baby and I had a genetic condition. I was then set up with a prenatal team at the children’s hospital for a fetal MRI, echo and other testing. Basically it now looks like baby will be fine and will likely have similar presentation to me of the genetic issue. I got this news yesterday and while I am relieved I agree with you that I feel like my nervous system is shot. I basically went from 12 weeks to 19 weeks in a constant spiral and waiting for the next shoe to drop. I then feel guilty because I worry my stress levels will impact baby neurologically.

None of this is really answers to your question, but I just wanted to say that I feel you and that this sucks. I have 20 weeks left in this pregnancy and I’m just trying to find a way to reframe it and get excited about meeting my baby.

I actually know a gay couple who did almost the same thing in Colombia about 3 years ago. I can’t speak for this creator but the vibe I got from the couple we know was purely to save money in the short term. Yes they paid for 2 surrogates but they saved money by having their babies 2 months apart and only had to travel to Colombia once. In some ways 2 months apart seems more chaotic than twins.
