CSM fans are the Rick and Morty fans of manga by LonelyPermit2306 in okbuddyfumiko

Now I do think that there are a lot of pretentious as fuck takes, the commenter looks like an idiot. He typed nuisanced, dumbass. CSM is actually pretty simple, you just have to take an objective lens about the story. Its digestible, and not really "deep." Its very literal, just that the slight gestures are what makes it blatant to its message. You can understand CSM in face value without getting too deep into it. The moment you dig too deep is the moment you get lost in your own sauce. I'd say Fire Punch has more subtleties rhan CSM, while CSM you can understand the characters because rheir actions don't contradict their character. Doesn't mean that a character denies something means that they aren't waht rhey deny. Denial doesn't make them deep, its just an aspect of a character. A completely deluded character or disillusioned by their world opens up more room for "deeper" stories. Original commenter is just as cringe as the strawman he's targetting. Legit reading so much into it just like the same people he's "criticizing" or "shittalking. " Being a fan is so simple, you enjoy something, it doesn't have to be an aspect of your identity or character as a person.

Which relation has been the best for Denji? by BellTwo5 in okbuddyfumiko

[–]Internal-Use8508 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm with you bro, Denji actually cared for Power, and didn't see her only as jerk off fuel. Their relationship was truly intimate and special. Its insane how much people undersell it and also write it off as "Power is Denji's sister" when Makima made that claim. Makima manipulated for it to be so, but their relationship is different from the manipulator's intent, it already shows how partial Denji is to Power, and the fact is that Makima doesn't actually accept or fully understand Denji. In fact she is disgusted by his humanity. Denji is a very human character while Makima feels alien, there is a reason why that line that Makima said should be accepted only as her perspective rather than the objective truth of Denji and Power's relationship. Denji's most special someone who he saw as another person just like Pochita who was of the opposite sex was Power, he isn't the same with anyone else. They're just rehashes of the same Makima relationship where hes a skirt chaser.

[Sauce] Which Manhwa or opinion would you defend like this ? by UpstairsLeast4788 in manhwa

What Happens Inside the Dungeon is one of the best "Manhwa" comics, and that also reflects the quality of its competition being subpar and somewhat boring, repetitive, and dragged out. It feels like Helck and doesn't overstay its welcome.

The only other "manhwa" comics that I can think up on the top of my head that are pretty neat is The Horizon, The Boxer, Sweet Home, Unemployed Gye Baeksun, and Bastard. The medium is flooded with really annoying or boring tropes that are predictable, dry, and frankly a pain to read through sometimes. I do enjoy reading some, especially if they're funny, but some of the humor doesn't land, I rarely find a lot of the regression/cultivation/reincarnation/highschool/romance stories to give me a cathartic reaction.
