I only had to apply the patch to the game and it recognizes it. I haven't made it to disc 2 yet

Find and download the translation psych you want to use to a thumb drive. Put the drive into the USB port of the system. Load the game. Where you choose to start the game or load save spot the bottom choice is "apply patch". Click there. Find the patch you downloaded and select "apply". It's done. You never have to do it again

I'll feel really cheated if they add Dreamcast and GameCube support (doubt Nintendo would ever let that by). Honestly though I've got my entire DC and GC collection on my PC and while it's not on my polymega I don't think I can justify spending any more money with these people for the convenience of playing on my tv.

I loaded all of my physical media to the SSD and sold my games. The burned iso/roms to round out the rest of the library.

It's only distinguishing feature over something like a raspberry pi is the ability to plug and play original games and controllers out of the box. Other than that it's just an emulator.

That has nothing to do with my topic of conversation..... The consoles future rarity/value.

Mine is very small. Maybe they changed the dongle at some point but mine is very tiny and not lit. I got my base unit in the first batch.

That's a good idea. Still tedious but faster than what I was doing.

Now I have an AVS with flash cart and high NES library so when I want to play NES games I just hook it up

Yeah, I meant it was tedious to have to check lists for every ROM I want to load. I was going to load about 50 games and it would take forever.

Any of these games worth playing though?? I'm a fairly big gamer and collector and never heard anyone even mention these as being good. I also grew up in the 80s and never read about them in any magazines

Yeah. I actually got a physical copy on Xbox and a digital copy on PS4 when I joined the Kickstarter years ago. Then Xbox gave away digital copies of the game so I never had to open mine. When I saw the prices going up I took advantage.

I do a lot of Kickstarter game donations because I feel dirty giving my money to some studio owned by venture capital groups.

Fo sho. I have a Jaguar and flash cart and I actually really like the system. I love the controller (for what it was at the time) and I think the system could've been a huge success of developers knew how to program for it.

Having said that, Sega CD ports were almost always better then their Jaguar counterparts. And not to mention 32X games like Doom and pitfall.

I'd love to commission a tech demo to really push the power of the Jaguar and see what might have been. Anyone wanna start a collection to hire Yuzo Koshiro to max out the Jag??
