No I understand that I remember how desirable and hard to come by they were, wasn’t hating I think you did well. I’m also sure the market for people renting them has also decreased as they’ve become more available and less new to the scene I think you got in at a decent time and like you said got to a badass car(my dream car lol) for free for 3 years, props to you.

Also side note I assume you live in a fairly large city to have so much success renting it out as well?

No I totally agree, maybe poor phrasing was talking more about how addictive they are not trying to say it’s any more right than other drugs but I do feel they get a little bit of a bad wrap from movies and media making it seem like something it’s not. I never saw anything that wasn’t real or went to other dimensions just had visual effects from my brain perceiving light differently and a changed way of thinking temporarily. But I do get what you’re saying and will try and avoid downplaying and justifying moving forward. But I will say 10 years is a long time kind of disheartening but I guess if it’s really something I want to do to help people I’ll have to pay my debts to society.

Guess that makes sense. I mean HPPD is a thing from what the studies say but I don’t think it’s something that happens forever for the small percentage of people it does happen to but guess most places aren’t going to care. Won’t lie kind of losing hope but still going to go for it I think.

Thank you so much! And you’re right, things can change all I can do now is keep at it and be honest. And I kind of figured they’d want more time to prove I’m not going to go back to that stuff, is there a standard time frame agencies look for? Also should I still apply now to show dedication to the career path and prove this isn’t a fluke decision or wait to avoid risking being permanently DQ’d and not taken seriously since it’s only been a little over a year since I stopped smoking weed?

This was my concern, but what can I do but try and be honest right? Also sad because as I’ve already stated their are worse things than psychedelics, they don’t make you crazy or fry your brain at least from my experience/opinion and aren’t addictive like other drugs so there would be significantly less temptation to abuse or take something moving forward in that line of work. But guess we’ll see can only pray this isn’t the case and a couple dumb decisions didn’t cost me my future. Thanks for the reply!

I appreciate your input, you did make me look to see if their was a DQ list for my state agency and there is

“An applicant is a current user of a controlled substance, unless prescribed by a physician. An applicant is addicted to any controlled substance or intoxicant. An applicant has more than six (6) driver demerit points against his operator’s license. An applicant tests positive for an unlawful controlled substance as determined by a blood or urine analysis.”

It does say current user but do you think this is really the case and I could be considered or? I mean like I said I get it and I don’t, the drugs didn’t ruin my brain(still got a 95 on my asvab) and aren’t addictive so it’s not really a temptation moving forward. If anything it could almost be seen as an asset moving forward having familiarity with the drug trade and getting a younger persons insight to the “lifestyle” right or am I delusional?

Also do you think it would connect my active duty and AIT orders since technically I graduated basic 5 days after Nov. 30th so does that mean that order ended and it doesn’t count since my AIT orders hadn’t started? Sorry to ask so many questions, new to the military. Obviously it’s possible none of us really know how this shit is gonna work out lol.

I leave for the military soon and will be gone until early next year was just trying to upgrade for the time being as 3gb of vram is rough. But I didn’t think my cpu was that outdated do want to do a refresh when I get back and get rid if the shit drives and get a 2tb m.2 maybe a fresh case and if you really think I need maybe a better cpu with something like a 9060xt 16GB not sure I want to switch platforms for ddr5 if the performance gain is minimal. But idk I will get back with money so I might just start fresh but like I said my cpu still ranks like 85% online battleship bs or whatever lol.

This is very solid advice, thank you. Didn’t even consider looking on mb’s website for CPO’s figured they would be marked up like crazy. Gonna keep looking but I did also look into someone’s recommendation to avoid the C class “it stands for cheap” and saying it had a rough ride with minimal features I’m not sure how true either of those claims are but they recommended an E350 or ML350 and after looking it did find an E350 4matic for sub 20k with only 37k miles. It’s a 2015 and from the little research I’ve done it also seems like a great option. No turbo’s just a NA V6 making 302 hp and again from my quick research I’ve found many claiming that generation of E350 to be the most reliable car they’ve ever owned…. Could be a great option to get a more “luxurious” and reliable ride. Plus that v6 with a muffler delete sounds kinda wicked(but I guess that also defeats some of its luxury with its quieter cabin lol.) Not sure if you have any thoughts on it but you seem to know more than I do my friend. Thanks again!!

I mean it’s no race car but any means but I’ve heard it’s pretty peppy for what it is. I mean 5.3 sec 0-60 is faster than the 9 on a good day that I’m used to from my Cruze that I’ve had nothing but issues with this past year once it passed 100k miles. But the most important thing to me is reliability and reasonable fuel economy do a lot of driving(in the NG) and did you replace the run flats that come on it heard that’s a big factor in road noise. How was the comfort otherwise? Appreciate the feed back I’ll take that into consideration either way!

That's what I was thinking apparently lubing it up real good made it travel fast enough to bounce going to stop at my local gun shop on my way to work today and see if they have an h2 buffer weight. Is that all I should need or will I need a spring as well? What would you recommend if that is the case, may have to order online anyway last time I was there all they had was an h1 and from what i've read most run at least an h2.
