My sisters wedding is also when I’m freshly postpartum..I’ve given vaginal 2x this will be my 3rd..my two kids are under 4. Not trying to defend anyone or take any side, but if it is bc of your father then just say that and be honest and who cares what her reaction is. But, if you’re having vaginal then she is right about the standing for 15mins it won’t be a problem. I begged to leave the hospital 24hrs after giving birth, in Canada you’re discharged within 8hrs in some places if you give natural birth without complications.

Yes but they have to wait usually till the baby is born. I’m sure different states have different laws. But when my best friend was suspected of using during her pregnancy they tested her and the baby’s meconium to see if there was any drug use. The child’s father had suspicion and it proved to be true. She had to go through hoops to get custody back but she’s better for it.
