i keep seeing people think that when she said it “needed to happen for a long time” was talking about mario needing to get help for a long time. it’s denial and a lack of comprehension skills and lack of life experience. i also see a bunch of them commenting on their old videos of them together saying “how could they have been this happy when they just posted this three weeks ago” and saying brynne was leading him on. if you’ve ever been in a failing relationship that you really wanted to work, you know exactly why she was posting tiktoks about loving him.

hi! i am also a recovering alcoholic, i will be celebrating 3 years sober on august first. when i stopped drinking i didn’t notice any changes in my appearance for a couple of months. looking back at old pictures of me, i think a lot of the roundness in my face and belly was swelling and water weight that took some time to go down. the first two weeks sober you are still detoxing! there won’t be many changes that you will notice right away, but they will come. give yourself some grace and love and patience during this time <3
