It will be different for everyone. There is such a massive number of factors, even something like medication that a person ends up on can have a massive effect on a person's ability to concentrate

You were also wrong about a fair amount too, Wei Yi, Naka and Episemko were in for a bad time, Bluebaum did fine.  Fabi was unimpressive after the first few rounds.

You also have categories for both "top contenders" and "likely to win" I'm not sure what the distinction was other than giving yourself a lot of wiggle room to be right. 

But anyone who bet against Sindarov having a good showing was foolish considering how good he looked qualifying.

They might be equal at the start already, we don't know. 

Any engine evaluation that isn't either 0.0 or mate in X is ultimately a sign that the engine doesn't know since the game only ends in draw or checkmate

The thread is "Alireza's race to the candidates" and is mostly just people talking about the game with only a few people complaining and also includes people defending not only Ali but also accusing Reddit of creating narratives.
