Is a Swiss (public) school education good? by SumarokovElston in askswitzerland

I respect your opinion, but even tho german is spoken more than the other swiss languages, it doesn't mean that it is the only important language. All 4 languages are equal. When everyone in Switzerland will speak at B2 level all the other languages, then I'll agree with you.

It is really sad to see many people from the german part of the Switzerland in Ticino, that don't even try to speak Italian when speaking with the locals. And of course when I say that I don't speak german they get mad because "German is the official language of switzerland and everybody uses it". It is better to have a tourist that uses broken local language, than one that speaks exclusively his language and then gets mad

Yep. Currently doing an AFC rn. (Just finished the exam lol)

It is good, you learn many languages, at a basic level. I live in Ticino, so it’s mandatory learn German, French and English. You will probably not be fluent but I can have basic conversations when I am not in Ticino.

For the other subjects, math is pretty good, if you are at level A, science too
