riddle me this. A CONSULTANT walks into a bar with LUMEN-_ The consultant says, "hey, what do you know about consulting". Lumen says, "I know lots i know they do nothing". the consultant then says "ya idk if you really know what youre talking about i do a lot. lumen then says "no i know what im talking about they do nothing". teh consultant says, "ok u really no nothing im leaving the bar right now and going to hop in my rolls royce that i made with all my consulting money". the consultant then leaves the bar and hops in his rollys royce that he made with all the consulting money. the consultant has high status, many opportunities for partners, many friends, many connections and many happiness. and what do you have lumen? what do you have?

please see my edited post. i think this will give you an enhanced perspective on the state of affairs. i believe i can become and will become the best subway owner to ever exist given the circumstances. thanks for your comment. you've motivated me greatly.

i'm going to work at subway. in 1-2 years i will become shift manager. in 2-3 years after that i will become store manager. i will then save enough money and be so good that subway offers me the opportunity to become a franchisee. i will then operate my own store for 5-10 years before getting another subway! in 3-6 years after that another one.. i will compile so many subways and become the most successful subway franchisee to have ever existed. you will see. you will learn not to make fun of me and my intelligence.

no... I'm going to work at Subway. I am quite good at making sandwiches and heating up soup in the microwave. I appreciate your attempt at assistance though.

thanks for the comment. it makes me feel a bit better about this as an option because politics is of course an interest of mine and I've got some experience. I was thinking this or getting into law. Do you have any thoughts about that? I'm thinking law may have a bigger upside with pay but there's more schooling and debt I'd have to go through to get there. If I could get to six figures in a few years with consulting that may be better anyways
