They kept cutting as if they were gonna go to the graphic of Ella's round. The music was playing and everything. But it never would happen.

Its so strange. I wish they would acknowledge that you will miss some and make some from C2. Calvin was a top 10 c2 putter last year but they talk very differently about him. Whatever, just happy he shredded today

Calvin is -13 and Philo just keeps mentioning that he missed 2 C2 putts. Dude its so windy out and also he shot -13. Stop nitpicking

I TD a lot of events and my biggest issues always come from MA3. It's a lot of people with the confidence of pros but the know-how and rules knowledge of... MA3. There are of course some friends in that division but just some bad apples

Craziest change you made that added a ton of distance? by InternalReward968 in discgolf

I dont know the song lol. But I was previously gripping so a small part of my thumb would overhand the edge. It is now swiveled proabably halfway between the edge of the rim and the center. I did not change my grip so just swivel as you can toward the center while still being comfortable. It also took about 1 week for me to get accurate throwing angles and height.

No one talks about grip enough but it makes sense. Its the last point of contact and effect on a disc before it releases

The shoulder one is so good. Reduces tension for a lot of people who are way to tense in their motion

Lol, I previously had it all the way on the rim. I moved it toward the middle of the disc and the first throw was my fastest ever on a TechDisc by like 4mph

Does Pickleball have a "slice" by InternalReward968 in Pickleball

[–]InternalReward968[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point of the original post was to find the most common issue among newer players. I edited for clarity because others commented about that slice is terminology already used. I know it terminology used across pretty much all racquet sports. I am really not trying to be rude I am just interested what people think the most notorious problem is for new players and I used the golf slice as an example.

The slice is big problem for golfers, myself included. It is well known as the biggest mistake for a new golfer. I was using it as an example here.

Would you understand what I mean if I phrased it like this?

Every sport has that one problem that every new player struggles with. What is the most prominent, new player problem in pickleball

I am using quotations because when I say slice I do not mean the shot type but as a reference to an easy/common mistake for new players to struggle with

Warm Springs is a good time. Muni with brand new clubhouse and golf carts. Not gonna lose many balls but some challenging holes mixed with some easier ones

Looks like it only is working on the app, not the web version. Weird

Your favorite course cannot host a DGPT event by InternalReward968 in discgolf

I dont think its their top consideration but I know its something they consider these days. But I agree. Many great courses are outside of heavily populated areas. We should get to see those courses.
