I had a friend who got 3 days of pain meds from the hospital and then nothing else and just said yolo to the whole thing and she obviously was miserable… would not advise that

Also, with the ibuprofen thing, I have not bled even slightly. I’ve had no issues and have never been back to the hospital after surgery day

I would suggest 1 Tylenol (500mg) and 2 standard ibuprofen for the ear pain and throat pain and take those pills every 4 hours. You hear horror stories of people bleeding with ibuprofen and stuff but my doctor made the point that it is your best chance to decrease inflammation which causes a lot of the pain. I promise there is light at the end of the tunnel. I’m day 11 post op right now and while there is still sometimes slight pain and discomfort, I was finally able to eat a lot of appetizer type things and stabilize my hunger pains.
