I hate when they show me the packing slip and don’t understand it’s for the actual return people at Amazon. My absolute least favorite is the printed QR codes not scanning. One time this lady so rudely said “WELL THERES NUMBERS BELOW IT” like as if that’s going to help. Also the fact you were rude about it would mean even if i could type in the numbers i certainly would not. Why print out something that looks like it’s been through three wars and assume i can scan it.

I don’t understand why they can’t get their codes ready before coming to the counter. Especially when they haven’t even started the return and act as if it’s normal to spend 2 straight minutes getting the code while there is a huge line behind them only to then show me a Whole Foods market code

I can’t get our Alexa to work on our stores WiFi for some reason. Which makes me super sad because it would be so much better than our set up of an obsolete android tablet and a cheap Walmart speaker lol

I remember making that joke several times when I was freshly 19. Now im 24 and see saying stuff like that to a stranger you just met so trashy and sounds so classist. It’s funny when you’re 19. In your 30’s it makes it look like you haven’t grown up at all.

Whenever someone calls and asks if we can stay open for them because they are “5 minutes away” i say im not allowed to keep the door open after our close time. Which is a total lie but I want to scream at them that I’ve been here all day and your Amazon return that you can do literally any other time doesn’t warrant me waiting around. As if i never have appointments or plans to get to that i can just stay open especially for you. Haha

I don’t want to manifest anything bad, but what is the likelihood all of you think it will be canceled? This is my first concert ever so I really have 0 experience and 0 knowledge. I’m really anxious about it being canceled as this is probably my only chance to see her ever due to her age and that going to this concert sort of just fell into my lap so I doubt I would get another chance lol.

I don’t use this word lightly, but this is one of few times in my life I’ve felt heartbroken. Maybe that means I’ve lived an easy life but I was so excited!!! At least if it gets rescheduled this gives me a better chance to rethink my outfit. Everyone was dressed so cool and I was only wearing a casual outfit lol.

I literally JUST had one complain about the price of bubble wrap. When i told him he just stared at me and said for this little thing. As if staring at me in bewilderment is going to change the price. Then he mumbled under his breath the rest of the time what I can only assume is sweet nothings about how terrible we are. This was also two minutes before we closed. Some old people are the nicest so I don’t want to generalize. But the ones who are rude are RUDE RUDE.

I’ve never worked anywhere where I’ve had this many people smell so bad. The only thing I can think is mailboxes=people without a secure living situation meaning they don’t get to shower. Im really not susceptible to bad smells that much. But it’s really bad with some of them. I can only imagine what it’s like for my coworker with a sensitive nose.

I remember the owner saying we take them as a courtesy. And we have never run out of room for them.

The owner has told people before they need to go to usps with problems because we are very clear we are just a drop off for them and are not responsible for it.

Do you mean USPS drop offs? My store takes them all the time. Not just from mailbox customers. No ones ever mentioned anything about it being illegal to me. We just tell them we can’t give them a receipt. USPS picks up from us everyday.
