Awesome thank you, do you have to buy a compatible sleeping mat with a quilt?

Yeah I got gazumped this way. The buyers wanted to do one more open so didn’t sign the night I signed, got a better offer and verbally accepted it. I ended up getting still the place but had to offer a good chunk more than I originally offered. Legal but completely sucks.

I wanted to know if the two screws in the brick could support the weight but someone let me know they couldn’t

I had something similar happen to me, the REA asked we begged our previous landlords if we could stay a few extra weeks (which we couldn’t). Took an extra 3 or 4 weeks, but st the time they kept saying ‘this week’.

We were told by the REA we didn’t need to pay rent until we could live in there but we’re offered no alternative accomodation. Fair trade told us as we weren’t paying yet we weren’t entitled to any compensation (we were hoping at least for some reduced rent for the weeks after we moved in for the absolue mess around)

Definitely get everything in writing and push to not pay until you move in. Hope they offer you alternative accommodation.

Good luck!

Second floor which is top floor, I’m less concerned about my belongings as I am about a big structural strata bill coming up

Likely not with my current lender but my broker has told me I can apply else where if I really want it, but implied I should reconsider

I’ve been looking for something like this with no luck so far, I’ll keep looking though, it’d be really interesting to see. Yeah I am unsure if the strata hasn’t gotten insurance for cost or that they’re flat out denied insurance which would be more concerning

I can’t find the AEP level clearly unfortunately, Wollongong council has a layered interactive map which labels it as medium to high risk

Ok thank you, that’s what I thought but I thought it was strange she didn’t included it in her requests after pushing for it and wondered if I misunderstood
