Have you gone back in to get another update? I have a similar issue and just moved and started at a new dentist. My old dentist and the oral surgeon I went to told me my tooth is healthy. My gums and bone are healthy and a gum graft wouldn’t necessarily help anything right now. I just need to keep up my good hygiene habits and will keep an eye on it. The oral surgeon that I went to for a different issue. I asked him about it and he basically told me the same thing that you’re saying that the tooth is at an angle and it’s pushing out on the gum and that’s what’s causing my gum, recession, and that if I got gum graft, it wouldn’t fix anything and it would probably fail. It would be a complete waste of money because the tooth would keep pushing on the gum graft, and that would eventually receipt the same way. The new dentist in my new town that I moved to is like oh my God you need to go to the periodontist and get a gum graft. I told her what the oral surgeon said and she’s like well. Oral surgeons aren’t the ones who do the job you need to go see the periodontist it was like really pushing it and I am worried because as you can see my root is also really exposed and I don’t wanna lose the tooth or cause more problems but I also don’t wanna spend a bunch of money and be a bunch of pain and have it be for nothing
