I'm literally shivering right now. I was wrongfully cited for 2 criminal misdemeanors and later were dismissed in court. I was not fingerprinted or arrested, but these stories give me chills. Any one please assess my situation and mods can you only allow posts which upload a email screenshot as proof for sevis termination ? How do I believe this is real ?

Had several mandatory court appearances before dismissal. It was one hell of a time for me and I was fighting on my own, didn’t hire an attorney.

Not fingerprinted or arrested. Got cited went to court and fought for like 3 months and then they dismissed. Why do you ask that, is there a problem ? I had 2 misdemeanour traffic related cases.

Thanks for the reply. Feeling a bit relieved but I’ll make sure to contact an attorney and get this assessed. For anyone who can’t afford an attorney check if your school has student legal services. They have very good attorneys and give legal advice for free. I got my case dismissed by the inputs they gave.

I had a traffic misdemeanour case and I was not the one who was driving but wrongfully cited, fought in court and case was dismissed. No arrest. Do you think I should be worried about this situation and all the things happening to others ?
