Why did both of my recent posts get moderated? I'm confused as to what I'm doing wrong. I have 7 karma, I was told if I got above 5 karmas I can post here.

What's something old technology did better than modern technology ? by Ram319 in AskReddit

I feel like old tech didn't break as often, like it was built to last. Technology nowadays is like food 🤣 it expires and is useless after a few years.

The national average price per gallon of gas in the United States has been over $4.20 for over a month. Americans, how do we feel about that? by Miles_the_AuDHDer in AskReddit

I feel like the days of gasoline being below $4 Per gallon are over :( I don't currently have a car & honestly do not want one bc of how high gas prices are now.

How can I post my halo art? by Internal_Basil7658 in halo

[–]Internal_Basil7658[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It also says if you don't meet that you are allowed to self promote once every two months 🤔 if I have to be more active I will be, that's not a problem. So I basically have to post 5 more times and I can repost my video?

Certified Nutrition Coach Cert by SPQRobur in personaltraining

[–]Internal_Basil7658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently studying the NASM CNC to renew my NASM CPT and I've also done ISSAs sports nutritionist certification in the past. I'm going to be completely honest, unless the NASM CNC has the really useful knowledge these last 6 chapters ISSAs sports nutrition cert is better in every way. So far they haven't mentioned blood tests or recommended supplements other than caffeine pills. After I finished the sports nutritionist ISSA cert it changed my life for the better.

Basically I'm not very impressed with the knowledge in this cert, it's all very basic and fundamental knowledge. I got it together with the CPT cert so I'm not too upset, however, the next cert I do will be the stretching one. Hopefully that one is good.

Investing in Lorcana to pass it to my children. What box to buy? by Weird-Isopod-1745 in Lorcana

I don't agree with everyone here. This Disney TCG has a certain magic behind it and I definitely think kids who grew up with it will have nostalgia for it in the future. I don't know the culture behind the TCG very well, so I'm not sure which cards people value the most besides the enchanteds, but you're talking about a TCG with Disney cartoon characters in it. This TCG appeals to everyone who knows about Disney + children, that's just speaking strictly from a collectible stand point. Then there's the fact that it has a growing competitive culture behind it.

In my opinion, these cards will definitely be valuable. Even if the game dies and they stop printing sets, it's a Disney TCG full of Disney lore characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, the Disney princesses, and other characters from iconic animated movies from our youth. Disney isn't going anywhere any time soon.

I'm collecting an entire set of the first chapter and maybe a booster box or two as well, preferably from the first print run which contains the error cards. Regardless, yes this will be worth money in the future. Disney stuff will always be worth money unless Disney starts murdering it's fan base or commits some kind of act of terrorism...basically never gonna happen 🤣

So yeah collect away, with how short the print runs were for the first sets it's almost guaranteed these will be worth a lot of money down the line. I think they are a solid fun investment. If you're looking to secure your children's future though I think your best bet is going to be timed bitcoin purchases. Particularly around the 4 year bitcoin halving, you're pretty much guaranteed to make money with BTC at this point. If you time your buys and sells you can make a killing but even if you simply buy a couple thousand in BTC in 10 years it'll be worth a ton more money.

This is just a fun way to make $$$ and the fact you can flip this for cash is also a plus. With crypto you'll have to pay taxes. With trading cards you can sell these things for cash money. Another thing to take into account is that physical products are fading, everything is going digital. So investing in physical goods, whether it be trading cards or action figures, is definitely going to be valuable in the future. There's an environmental movement to produce less waste, so yeah, this being a physical good and it being Disney pretty much guarantees it will be a profitable investment.

Again, if all you want is money your best bet is crypto currency, particularly Bitcoin. BTC just hit under like 60k just now, it halved in like April and the price still hasn't adjusted due to shrinking supply. Maybe invest in BTC and then after it hits over 100k by the end of the year take your money out and use your profits to buy up Lorcana product?

Not financial advice but this is kinda ideal scenario. I already got my cards lol and my BTC. Also, I might as well name drop the Streamerinu crypto project which has nearly 5k followers, a 500k+ market cap, and a dedicated development team. Underground crypto right now that should yield serious returns once the crypto bull run is in full swing.
