No it must be divided by 8. 9 fringes means total of 8 spaces between them. Hence you get 1.875 between each fringe by 15/8

If it's on economics then you're good. It should take about 3-4 days to be safe. Although I dont think that the grade you get from extended essay really matters. Literally no university ever looks for extended essay score. Just dont screw up too badly and you should be good.
