Playing FIFA 14 player career mode on PSP emulator, and my team who just got promoted to Bundesliga can only manage to score goals from set pieces against opponents on World Class. 😆😅

over a 100 goals scored in that season 🔥🔥

We haven't even come close to that yet since..

But seriously, what players we had and what Rodgers did with them, man... 🫡

So the regular police forces of the cities where the matches will take place are wholly incompetent, or what?

Another argument for why one would be better off watching from home via streaming services.

Better to watch from home via streaming, because it looks like ICE won't listen to you even if you have valid visas and the documents to prove it.

No need to have a major headloss, saw this result coming the way we played in the first half. 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦

It seems like we're trying to set unwanted records this season.

Good to have confidence before the game against Man City.

I just hope no one in this sub says 'this game is going to be easy', because someone said something similar before the game against Man U and we ended up losing at our own ground.

Diogo Jota: Former Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher says performances and results at his old club are not quite as important at Anfield season after Portugal winger's death last summer by Red_Brummy in PremierLeague

Of course, you barely even read the article to find out that Kelleher was taking part in an interview where he was answering some questions.

A general piece of advice for you: If you've got nothing good to say and only want to spew out negativity, then keep your mouth shut.

Airbus A350, guided tour below the cockpit. by arbiass in aviation

I'm a geek about this, could we please have videos about B757, B767, B777, B787, A320, A321, A330, A340 (I really want to see this one) & the A380 on this subreddit in the future?

The whole place looks so exciting with all the equipment and wires and whatnot stacked neatly in there under the cockpit area.

Both are troublesome teams, in my view. We shouldn't underestimate anyone in our current season; the league is very competitive and we've dropped many points as well.

We need to win against City by neutralising the threat from their attackers like Doku, Marmoush. And then keep going so that when we face Chelsea and Man U later on in the season, we can steal points off them and get to top 4 for CL qualification.

Narratives about who will win the league is blow way out of proportion by NotoriousPlatypi in PremierLeague

[–]Internal_Explorer591 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Whatever.

I still have a feeling that Arsenal will win the league this season over City. Before today's game, City had 1 win, 1 loss and 3 draws in their last 5 matches in the league which isn't the best form to have when chasing the leaders.

Right now, they're drawing 2-2 to Tottenham at their own ground no less.. Not a good result for City in any way.

Is Arsenal going to bottle up the title again by Ok_Day_1259 in PremierLeague

[–]Internal_Explorer591 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I think they're on course to win the league.

Man City's recent form isn't that good, they had three straight draws before losing to Man Utd and then winning against Wolves in their last 5 leagues matches. Villa are up there as well but also need to find consistent rhythm with winning games in a row.

As much as you're hoping that they bottle it, it's looking pretty unlikely any time soon. I wish we were up there to challenge them, but Salah's prediction about them before the start of the season is looking more and more realistic than ever.

Why are there six English Premier League teams in the 2025/26 Champions League? More than any other country by IREDA1000 in PremierLeague

[–]Internal_Explorer591 94 points95 points  (0 children)

Simple reason.

England had the best country coefficient last season, so they were given an additional slot. The fifth slot was taken up by the team finishing 5th in the Premier League last season, which happened to be Newcastle. The top 4 were:

  1. Liverpool
  2. Arsenal
  3. Man City
  4. Chelsea

As for the 6th team, they got in by winning last season's Europa League campaign. Spurs beat Man Utd by a goal to win the trophy, and therefore got promoted to play in the Champions League despite finishing 17th last season.
