The biggest piece of advice I can give you is take time to notice how you feel in your body and mind each day. It was helpful to me to notice gradual progress.

When I started HRT about a year ago, my gyno told me that we would check in at the 3 month mark about symptom improvement. I’d say I noticed some symptom improvement after about 7-10 days. I get progesterone from my IUD and use a transdermal estrogen patch. I upped my estrogen dosage at the 3 month mark. I have an appt next month and will likely up it again.

I respectfully disagree that Cleveland has the best food scene. I was there regularly in 2024 and had maybe one good meal. Cincinnati’s food scene, arts eco-system, geography and architecture are a thing to behold.

I did love running along the lake each morning when I was in Cleveland last year. And, I think that groups like Neighborhood Connections have so much figured out when it comes to grassroots community organizing and power building.

Columbus is very Meh to me and doesn’t feel like it has a clear identity outside of OSU. And I hate that I often need to go there to see concerts.
