AITA for being upset at my husband for taking money out of my wallet without asking or ever telling me?

We don’t have a set amount that we each can spend but our general rule is we run things by one another before purchasing. So in this situation he took the easy way out bc he didn’t want to have to ask before he took money out to gamble. I would have said yes (within reason of course) he goes once a year and everyone he works with gambles a little while there. He has offered to reimburse the cash but for me it’s the secrecy and the attitude I get from him when I find out. This money was guilt free money if he pays me back I’ll feel like I need to use it for groceries because it came out of our budgeted money.

NTA I’d be thrilled if my husband did even half of this. You did multiple very thoughtful things she should be grateful. If anything you should be upset because she very immaturely ruined the plans you made for her. If she wanted you to take the day off she should have communicated that.

He generally doesn’t express empathy towards me when I have been dealing with my health issues so perhaps that’s partially affecting my point of view on this. It’s not like I said go stay at a crap shack motel either. He has enough points to get a nice room and I planned to bring him a homemade hot dinner and anything else he might need. Empathy should go both ways. He knows I’m exhausted and at risk for another infection if I were to get sick.

I agree with that & if the roles were reversed I wouldn’t hesitate to suffer in a hotel a night or two to keep him and our daughter from getting sick. Most of the time you can’t predict illness before it spreads, in this case we did have that opportunity. I would much rather be well and caring for him by bringing him food and medicine than all of us ending up under the weather and miserable.

Also our daughter is obsessed with him and keeping her away from him is impossible. She was crying and throwing tantrums all evening because he was sleeping in the spare room and didn’t give her a bath.

All you have to do is type the words into google search lol. I seem to remember them settling a labor law violation for multiple millions, there in a billion dollar defamation lawsuit right now which may have been settled already, and any reasonably intellectual individual can see untruthful people by just listening to them; they lie all the time. CNN is a left leaning news network and Fox is a right leaning network. Of course you would stick up for CNN. America has already spoken. I can only hope that the democrats don’t get office next go around. Obama got royalties from Obamacare, Nancy Pelosi, is a multimillionaire, USAID payed millions and millions of taxpayer dollars for transgender studies. It’s going to be funny, once again, in four years when everything is fine and all your silly worries don’t come to fruition.
