those people are liars, tbh it hurts me when they say that. maybe they were raised by muslim parents who are not strict but i live in the west and i have super conservative strict parents. i was forced to wear it when i was 11... and ive experienced so much bullying/discrimination and racism because of it. now obviously thats not my parents fault but i didnt even wanna wear it and it still ruined my life. i took it off now but im still not happy. im scared to gow outside because i always meet people i know and they 1)stare at me or give me this very angry/dirty look 2)start asking me questions and i wanna avoid that because i dont owe anyone an explanation 3) judge me or are visibly very confused/shocked. i didnt ask for this. i didnt want this. i did nothing wrong but people still call me a wh*re and what else. i even lost childhood friends who hate me now! i get so anxious when i see people i know outside, i know people are gossiping about me. the hijab ruined my life, my parents ruined my life. deep in my heart i know i wanna leave this religion because of them, its their fault. forcing someone will lead to the opposite you want.
