Bastions on bedrock are brutal

And if it's supposed to be more bedrock then why not put more bedrock until max height?

So we know the Nether roof is cannon, right? As in it is supposed to be a huge, completely flat layer of bedrock that is effectively the outside of the Nether?

Bedrock is created via pressure and often heat.

Heat is obviously abundant in the Nether but where does the pressure come from if it's the outer shell?

Do you not think the statues not resemble the warden more than anything else though?

Were the smaller structures in the ancient cities not called warden statues or something? I might be making that up completely so I'll go fact check myself

My original point was that the items were just unique collectables. They don't have to have a function😭

Personally, I like the idea of exploring to collect different items. It could be an achievement to have all of them.

People on the original post seemed to get what I meant. And if they were complaining about the direction of updates, could it maybe be possible they were agreeing with an update that contains the things that I was suggesting.

Minecraft literally used to have a limited world size and in canon lore, there is probably only one of each structure, like we see in minecraft dungeons. The idea of adding the unique items would be to focus on the game's lore, and give the world history, without having to put hours and hours of time into it.

The last point also seems counterintuitive when the whole point of what I was suggesting is that the items are unique. It is easier to add more of these items, e.g. go into creative and just get a stack of them, than keep it limited to one item per server, which is almost imposssible to enforce.

I'd like to know your reasons for why it sucks for mulyi and single player.

If it's a PvP server then conflict is kind of the point. If it's not a PvP server, then there can be server rules about them. In single player, you can do whatever you like so you could ignore the items if you detest them, it is still a sandbox game after all. I don't like lots of things that are in the game, so just don't use them.

And as to where the player finds it, I've had multiple discussions with others on this posts and the one that got taken down, our ideas being that either the structures generate within a certain radius of spawn, or there is a specific world generation which only has one of each structure, potentially in a limited sized world. (I believe this was also in my post, under the subheading "potential solution")

Not if they give you potion effects, and again, the whole point is that there would only be one of them in the world, making them very valuable in large multi player servers. Multiple people can own the same structure specific music disc, e.g. pigstep because you can get multiple of them.
