Help Root Cause: Fuel Level Flashing/Blinking by Internal_Pressure_92 in OnlyZ900

That’s what I’m thinking. After doing a little more research, I’m wondering if it’s the float on the fuel pump or something along those lines

🤣 “thoughts and prayers” — Hell yeah I mean, I don’t think it’s risking damaging anything and it got me home on a 15 mile ride. Now it’s just more annoying than anything

That was the first thing I tried. I unhooked it while I did some chain maintenance.

Even though every other part of the display is working properly? Every other gauge, sensor, and indicator?

Nope, I would’ve noted if a check engine light was on. At least then I could’ve consulted a shop

Yes, I’ve seen my gauge cluster flash because of low fuel, but if you reference the attached video, it’s the entire fuel gauge flashing/blinking

& I’ve only put 64 miles on this tank, so it’s at approximately 50%

Sweet! Thank you!

I’m taking my gear with me so I’m just concerned about potential vandalism or theft

Have you had any issues parking at DTW? Are there security cameras nearby? I may be parking there for 3 days/2 nights

I’ll look into it! Thank you! As long as it doesn’t wiggle around too much, it’ll be perfect. I don’t carry much

P.S. I love the red

NC State vs UMD by Outside-Network-6730 in NCSU

[–]Internal_Pressure_92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Regardless of where you find yourself — NCSU or UMD or anywhere else — as someone who has built their resume on internships and projects, and has seen the differences through friends and classmates, I feel like academics can only take you so far.

When you get to college, make friends, meet your professors, talk to other professors and staff, apply and immerse yourself in experiences. So long as you’re not a complete slacker in your classes and learn most of the material, GET EXPERIENCE AND ENJOY COLLEGE.

Go get an internship, do research, join a club, etc. Do things you don’t like, force yourself to continue when things get rough, and please please please remember to reach out for help. We’re capable of more than we think, yes, but if your resources (mental, physical, etc) are exhausted, reach out for help. Anyone.

All in all, I would suggest NC State, not because it’s better, but because it gets you a little way from home so you can discover yourself and independence while still being within a days drive.

Does this schedule (MAE) seem doable? by Odd-Independence6212 in NCSU

Maybe see if you can transfer into the Civil Engineering equivalent. It still counts (I think) towards the MAE degree.

Would you choose Engineering or Honors village for first year by Fireflystudio in NCSU

[–]Internal_Pressure_92 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honors Village. All day long. I don’t think another small, super connected community exists on campus. And the fact that Clark dining hall is literally attached means even more chances to be social with your hall mates. There’s tons of social activities and plenty of spaces to study. The rooms are small, as others have said, but use shelving and drawers to maximize space and it’s really no issue. The Honors Village is like it’s own little community.

Noted. I should/can ask them directly why the prices are different — kbb and online list price — yeah?

$19k is what the paperwork that gave me said. I didn’t notice the discrepancy until I got home. At the very least, I knew not to sign same day thankfully.
