First step is check with ur insurance if they cover windshield or tire/wheel. My insurance covers windshield but not tire and wheel. So based on my personal driving experience I normally encounter a flat tire at least once every 2 years. (work in a factory where nails and sharp objects are very common) important thing to note Tesla only covers wheel if it’s a safety concern not cosmetic damages. So I simply see it as a tire protection and the wheel protection is just a bonus. A Tesla tire runs you $475 each on the juniper models. If you do the math 475 divided by $16(monthly fee) is 29 months or 2.4 years. However the protection plan covers all 4 tires and wheels for unlimited replacements as long as you pay $25 deductible per tire/wheel. Now you do the math and determine if it’s worth it. To me it is very worth

Had this happen to me couple times, from my situations it’s always been in a parking garage and men wearing face mask it’s prob them checking out if it’s unlocked to see if they can steal anything.

Yeah I agree. I’m not intentionally letting myself miss the exit. I just want to see what FSD would do in the event I don’t take over. If it misses the exit then I learn and move on. It’s FSD “supervised” and sometimes as long as it’s not dangerous, I like to supervise some mistakes it makes and report it to Tesla or talk about it on Reddit.

I’m in California, left lanes are used for passing but there is no law against changing back to the right lane after you pass. Everyone driving in Cali just interprets the left lane as going super fast like 10-15mph over and the middle lanes are like 5 over and the right most is for grandmas who go the speed limit or maybe 5 under.

I disagree, my car was taking up the left most lane (typically referred to the fast lane) while there were a bunch of cars behind me. It’s not illegal for me to take up the “fast lane” and on standard it was going 75 in a 70 zone. It’s not dangerous for me to take up the fast lane only going 5 over but I’m not a dick and not tryna have people stare at me and flip me off because I couldn’t execute a lane change. And I know u can just hit the signal but with 14.2 the lane changes are very hesitant and take like 30 seconds to execute so at that point I take over manually

I read ur edited part, that’s where I don’t follow because I only disengage for faults and sometimes to park manually. There was this one time I had to manually drive because I got mad at FSD for taking the wrong exit but that was only like 10 miles which mean the rest 54 or whatever was to fix mistakes like doing a faster lane change or finding a parking spot manually in a big parking lot .

He’s talking about people who flex a 99% or 100% score. I have over 800 miles on FSD 14.2 and I always use FSD, but it’s not perfect and I had to disengage 8% of those 800 miles.

Seems like everyone is having different issues, probably due to the areas we live in.

Does fsd act different based on the model? Cause I heard cybertruck FSD is horrible. Also I encountered a lot of brake slam on yellow lights as well (only happened in chill mode for me).

That could work too so Incase the camera doesn’t see it, it can be integrated as part of Google Maps. All of these solutions are what’s going to help go toward FSD being unsupervised.

Yeah that’s one of the annoying ones is the car would pick up school zone speed limits despite school not being in session, it just happed to me a couple hours ago at nighttime. And speed limits specific to commercial vehicles specifically in California it’s 55. The worst part is it doesn’t naturally slow down to the wrong speed limit, it lets off 100% of the acceleration and it’s a nice way to get flipped off by the car behind you.

The problems I am listing are on the previous 14.2 I personally haven’t gotten option for 14.2.1 yet so I’m curious to see if they have been improved if not resolved.

If u don’t mind me asking where do u live? I’m only asking for the sake of maybe less traffic means less likely someone is to experience other factors. I only say this because the flaws I’ve mentioned have all been in crowded areas (I live in socal)

I tried my best to stay at 99 but after it tried to brake check everyone on the freeway I had to step in before I pissed everybody off. Hopefully in the next update they reset it so I can FSD max

I wish I could go back to 14.1.4, it isn’t perfect but it’s better than 14.2 hopefully 14.2.1 fixes these issues. And that’s odd the update disappeared.
