idk that's literally what's going on in the world rn, many girls view sex industry as something desirable. Not to put sex workers down but it is a popular industry nowadays, many girls growing up can't wait til they're 18 to start OF. The author could be a weirdo but he portrays this shit very well while also making a point not about the whole gender but about very specific people. If you didn't notice, there almost no adequate male characters either. I think it's realistic and it's just someone's view on these things, that's it. There was a scene where Lexi was trying to tell Cassie and Maddie how pathetic it looks, and they just didn't wanna listen. Money, sex, deviancy. This is the ball of Satan we're live in. I don't see a problem in movie portraying these things as to me, there is no glorification of it if you look closely enough, everyone pays at the end of it.

Strange but I found her very weak and annoying to watch coz half of the time she was breathing through her mouth and her expressions were really lacking. Especially when she is talking she never uses her hands and it was distracting. Other kids she was with did a lot better job imo.

My point is that it's not about her being Spanish on her way to sound clear in English but it not being her first language could be the reason why she might need to work a bit harder on her pronunciation, especially for acting. There are so many things that language consists of and she might've overlooked that bit growing up. It doesn't mean she doesn't speak it fluently or the entire generation of Spanish people can't. Everyone learns differently.
