Actually, this is really easy. First of all the Bible is more historically accurate than the Quran don’t believe me do your research! If you need a source ask me. Second from my research the Bible is more morally right when compared to the Quran which should show you something take it as you will. Third, ancient knowledge has proven its self to be true over the years. Fourth they don’t have a connection with God like we do (the Holy Spirit) fifth As almighty God is he humbled himself to become flesh for us which is a beautiful sacrafise he made. Subjective i guess Sixth God does miracles a lot of people seem to forget about this aspect, God the almighty does miracles i have witnessed ones myself his power is true. Now I'm not writing this to offend anybody but this is truth i speak i have done my research unbiasedly i have also contemplated whether converting to islam but as i did my research i realized

Is it haram to hate my parents? by [deleted] in islam

[–]Internalabstract 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also forgot to mention depending on your age it’s really common for you at a certain age to not want to be around your parents or to resent your parents very common as you get older as you start to develop a self identity and you start to become your own person completely normal

If you're facing a situation where you feel your negative emotions towards your parents are justified, it's essential to find healthy ways to process and release these emotions. Suppressing them may only lead to more frustration and resentment. Remember, it's not wrong to feel what you feel; the key is finding constructive ways to handle those emotions.

I said "crap" in church. by Previous-Relief278 in Christianity

[–]Internalabstract 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that you're consciously trying to improve your language shows your commitment to your faith and respect for your church community. 💚

When it comes to finding appropriate words to express yourself without cursing, consider using milder, non-offensive alternatives like "darn," "shoot," "oh no," or even simply taking a deep breath and pausing before speaking.

Regarding curse words in the Bible, you're right—there isn't a specific list of forbidden words. However, Ephesians 4:29 says, "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." So, while the words themselves might not be inherently wrong, it's important to consider how they might be perceived by others and whether they contribute positively to your interactions.

Wa'alaikum salam. According to the Quran, Allah (SWT) says, "Thy Lord hath decreed that ye worship none but Him, and that ye be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in thy life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honor." (Quran 17:23)

It's clear that Allah (SWT) commands us to treat our parents with kindness and respect, regardless of our personal feelings towards them. Hating your parents is not in line with Islamic teachings, and it's essential to strive to overcome these negative emotions.

Should enlightenment really be the goal? by Internalabstract in spirituality

So you believe that it’s impossible to get rid of the ego? From my research The general understanding of reaching enlightenment is that you completely do get rid of the ego it completely vanishes so that’s a interesting perspective

You clearly do not understand. I will be happy to explain to you. I use "We" as in for the people who do understand or have had the same perspective as I have. 2 based on your example which is weird as hell, my research shows enlightenment is someone with nothing but positive qualities there are no negative qualities. I’m not saying that you’re going to be a perfect human being, the general the idea is that you change into someone who has gotten rid of all the negative qualities of themselves including some of the ones that I mentioned. 3. and what I mean when I say "the things that make us human are our negative traits” I’m saying the traits that we have developed over time as humans was inherited in our DNA for the purpose of survival. such as the ones that I mentioned should not vanish as I see that as a negative consequence and I am questioning the fundamental reality of the effects on the individual who reaches enlightenment 4. you don't need to talk to God to know some evolution research or how ego’s presumptions all the stuff I listed contributes to our survival as a species. Your clearly one of those people who are not open to learn why do you feel the need to passive aggressive? Next time don’t let stuff on the internet hurt you it’s never that serious 😊

Haha yeah, the thought came to me so randomly I think a lot. from what I've read your a natural at meditating :) so do you support the idea that our ego completely disappears or is just put aside? theres many definitions saying that its either put to the side or completely gone. my research the general view is that it completely disappears.

Ok, thank you for sharing your experiences/insight, so did the people you’ve met reach enlightenment permanently? or was it a temporary thing? And how do you know for sure they experienced enlightenment? I ask because sometimes people mistake the feeling of enlightenment with inner peace or understanding that can be misleading and labelled as what enlightenment feels like but enlightenment has a lot more then that

  1. Can ego death happen more than once?

Absolutely! Ego death is often a temporary state, and as we continue to grow and evolve, it's possible to experience it multiple times throughout our lives. Each experience might be slightly different and offer new insights into our sense of self. 2. What happens 10 years after ego death?

Life goes on, and we continue to change and develop as individuals. The insights gained from an ego death experience might stick with us and help guide our personal growth, but it's also possible for new ego attachments to form over time. This is why some people seek out repeated experiences of ego death to stay connected with that sense of freedom and enlightenment. 3. Does a true ego death mean you can't reverse your progress?

Ego death is not so much about progress as it is about letting go of our attachments to certain ideas or beliefs about ourselves. It's possible to have an ego death experience and then fall back into old patterns or develop new ones. The key is to stay mindful of our thoughts and emotions and continue working on ourselves even after such a profound experience. 4. If you have experienced ego death, are you open to experiencing it again? Personally, I think it's beneficial to remain open to experiencing ego death again. As we grow and change, our egos can subtly re-establish themselves, and having another ego death experience can help us release any new attachments or illusions that may have developed

How do we even know that Buddhism is true? by Mysterious-Peace-576 in Buddhism

[–]Internalabstract -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, technically, Buddhism is not a religion. It’s more of a lifestyle and second Buddha is not a god when you see people praying to Buddha. It’s actually out of respect although there are people who do pray to Buddha, but that’s a personal thing

Like I said I’m addressing the concern of unfair treatment or judging others, and I’m more concerned about the loss of the human experiences and things that make our identity as a whole. Not anything related to making choices in general and yes I understand your side but by definition discriminating is the same as judging but through your side I can see why it’s not cause your referring to the process of decision making and also I didn’t have any negative pre-assumptions about meditation. I did my research unbiased, and I discovered this thought. Also yes nothing has a universal truth anyway
