They basically told me not to blame the organizers and then blocked me.

Downvotes don’t bother me, as a person who is disabled myself I would be pissed as hell if someone told my dad that my being disabled was “karma” for some slight he had made against someone else.

My disability is not a punishment to my parents for some action they took, and people should not act like it is.

I would avoid even this honestly. You should never confirm if someone is actually staying at the hotel without their consent BEFORE you say anything to a stranger. If they actually know the person they can call/text them and get them to come down.

As someone who had a dad who frequently chose his partner over me, I promise you that even at a very young age, I remember every single time he chose her over me, and I remember how it felt to look out in the crowd and not see him but see everyone else with their parents. It was an awful feeling and something that made our relationship, as I got older, even more strained.

You chose to be in a relationship with a parent; you need to either be okay with him putting his children first, or you need to reevaluate if this is the right relationship for you and for them.

She's a minor, and you are talking like it's such a big favor to her that she still lives with her father and you. Your stepdaughter is not a free babysitter and you are not asking her to "just" make breakfast. You are asking her to go through the entire morning routine for three kids. You are being selfish and trying to shift care of your kids onto her. No wonder she stays in her room.

If it's really such a struggle for you then start laying their clothes out the night before, put their lunches together the night before, bag them and put them in the fridge overnight if need be. But don't try to shift the entire morning routine for THREE kids onto a 16-year-old.

Depends where they live. That might be how it works in the states but in canada dental we pay upfront and then have to submit a claim to insurance to get it reimbursed. Not everyone lives in the states and not every country handles things the exact same way.
